Congrats Save. May God continue to bless your union and family.
Today marks 21 years of our marriage. Thank you my love for being a good co-pilot. We started flying this union without any experience, learning on the job. We rode through storms, over highways and by-ways, good days and bad days. We lost two boys when we had none. God then blessed us with a beautiful girl who then became our first born when she actually came 3rd, then our son who became our second born after coming out fourth. Then, in old age, when we thought we were done, 11 years after our boy, God remembered us with our little friend. The little princess who does everything she likes at home, sometimes because, at our age, we can't cope with restricting her movements. She has the freedom of the house because our love for her is simply an open cheque and our physical disposition cannot simply cope with her youthful exuberance. We, however, like it the way it is. Thank you Manjenjenje for agreeing to bring up a family with me. I am honored to be your husband. I pray we grow old old old together. Your company is wonderful. The jibes, vibes, jokes and counsel that is part of our everyday life is the part I cherish most. Enjoy this today, and many more years to come. Happy 21st anniversary to US.

So sorry bro. Praying you bounce back stronger and bigger.
Yesterday was a wake up call on the brutality of nature. The wind was lifting flames 30 feet in the air. Most our farm workers were off. We could only fight to save the homestead coz we have thatch. I failed to save the thatching grass we had been cutting for the last 3 months. I failed to save our silage. I failed to save the borehole solars at 2 locations. I failed to save my wife’s irrigation pipes and drip pipes. We had not buried most pipes as we needed to test all connections. It’s devastating that we are NOT insured for fire. Something I’ll correct going forward. But FIRE guards DID NOT work. The wind was just overpowering. We will never be caught like this again. But I now realise that battling forces of nature like fire isn’t a joke. You do your best but it’s in Gods hands. #SurvivingGutu

What the "Friends of the People" Are by Lenin articulates the stances of the revolutionary Social-Democrats on the role of the working class, the necessity of unity with the peasants, and the leading role of the Marxist party.

Great lecturer. Enjoyed Andre Brink's Chain of Voices with him.
He taught me Doris Lessing, Charles Mungoshi, Charles Dickens, Thomas Hardy, Marxist Aesthetics (Marx, Rosa Luxembourg, Althusser, Aldorno, Georg Lucas and many others). I was in his Literature Honours and Masters Class between 1982 and 1985. Historically linked to the Coghlan Family. Quite an authority on settler mythopoesis. Above all, he taught to cross the false boundary between Literature and History in the search for historical and social realism. Go well Son of Great Book. Sorely missed🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Dude was going through red traffic lights😂
I genuinely thought our pilot was lying. About halfway through the flight, the captain came over the intercom and said, “Good news, everyone.” “We’re expected to arrive about 50 minutes early.” I looked at my boarding pass. Then looked out the window. Then I looked at the guy sitting next to me. I whispered, “How?” He shrugged. “Maybe we caught a good tailwind.” I wasn’t convinced. For the rest of the flight, I became completely convinced pilots had secret shortcuts they just didn’t tell passengers about. Like… “Traffic looks bad over Tennessee.” “Let’s cut through Kentucky.” When we landed, curiosity got the better of me. I stopped to thank the captain as I got off the plane. Then I asked, “I have to know…” “How do you save almost an hour?” He smiled.

That team that won the league with a run of 23 unbeaten games went on to represent Zimbabwe in the CECAFA Championship in Sudan and reached the semi-finals.

🥇| @LewisSteele_: Virgil Van Dijk "is understandably upset" at the situation of players continually leaving Liverpool and it might explain why he sat on the Anfield turf, alone, for 15 minutes on Sunday staring into the middle distance with a tearful eye.

The amount of lies we will hear before the next season starts will kill us. Lots of people and handles pretend to know but are just as clueless.

Hear! Hear!
The greatest lie and betrayal of Zimbabweans any politician can perpetrate today is to pretend that there is a bigger battle they’re saving themselves for than to contend with Emmerson Mnangagwa’s CAB3 and 2030 agenda! Why? Because #CAB3, if railroaded through, puts paid to electoral politics as we’ve known them in Zimbabwe since the 1987 constitutional amendments! The demand of history that we face today goes beyond mere rhetoric about being for the people. We need to diagnose the national crisis accurately: To be brutally accurate, CAB3 is 11 November 1965 all over again! A UDI rupture in which the ruling elite impose a new constitutional order on the nation, taking the country in an extreme direction in which they cast their power and authority beyond the reach of citizens! There’s no “deeper understanding of struggle” than to recognise the fundamental, defining nature of a UDI juncture and responding to it, not with rhetoric about one’s illusory, secret strategies that are as palpable as The Emperor’s New Clothes, but with revolutionary action! When Smith declared UDI in 1965, the African Nationalist movement STEPPED UP a gear: they did not try to convince people that look, we’re not into public postures so we won’t challenge UDI, just believe we’re working in secret on a much broader masterplan to reverse the theft of your country! Rather, the Nationalist Movement took a DECISIVE DECISION and evolved into a National Liberation Movement, which launched the armed struggle that brought us independence. A CORRECT READING OF HISTORICAL CONTRADICTION, MET SWIFTLY WITH DEPLOYMENT OF REVOLUTIONARY ACTION! Not prevarication. Not ambiguity. But REVOLUTION! THAT, is what LEADERSHIP looks like! UDI was the historical rupture from which ZANLA and ZIPRA were born; it is the moment from which the heroes of our struggle that we lionise today - Josiah Tongogara, Nikita Mangena, Rex Nhongo, Lookout Masuku and others - MEN OF ACTION, emerged into history! To miss this historical parallel is to fail, conceptually, to crystallise the challenge we face today in CAB3 and envision scenarios of national life post-CAB3! We face a CONSTITUTIONAL POWER HEIST whose immediate effect is to lock citizens out of the determination of their own destiny, robbing them of direct expression of sovereignty, and constraining what’s left of the democratic process with stifling Executive overreach! To pretend that there is a bigger battle for Zimbabwe to fight than this CONSTITUTIONAL ASPHYXIATION amounts to cruel political hypnosis deployed to beguile citizens into surrendering their lives without as much as a whimper of protest! It is to give a through-pass to Emmerson Mnangagwa to score with his 2030 agenda! Why would any purported leader of the people do that? And why would that leader constantly promise the people a mirage that never materialises, while behind them, a tide of constitutionally fuelled oppression gathers momentum? To claim to be with the people while simultaneously deserting them during the most defining development, then trying to downplay that moment as inconsequential and a footnote to the great big liberation that leader is working on, is to engage in gaslighting of monumental proportions. I sincerely hope this “Presidential Spokesperson” does not represent the actual views of Adv @nelsonchamisa, because it would be tragically unsettling to accept this is how he reads the historical challenge the Zimbabwe he aspires to lead faces today!

Well, what position were they on the log then and how far did they go in the Champions League that season?
Cómo pasó el Arsenal de jugar así a ser el Córner FC?

Good morning 5am club. Oppression does not always come with chains. Sometimes it comes with comfort. When people become comfortable inside injustice, they stop demanding change. That comfort becomes their cage.🌺
