i’ve spent a lot of time on Ethos, and with karma season 1 starting today, i’m curious to see how it all plays out. i hope it rewards the people who’ve been here contributing, helping others, and building the community, rather than those who only show up when there’s something to farm. i’ve always believed Ethos should be about reputation, trust, and real contributions. now let’s see that belief turn into karma.
🤝 Paid partnership
incentives to use Ethos? next week we launch Karma Season 1, an evolution of our XP system that rewards key contributors who add value to Ethos in the form of meaningful, quality contributions to earn $WHUF. Your hard earned streaks weren't completely useless..

ct has the memory of a goldfish and the due diligence of a drunk raccoon 😂😂 also, teh switch from "he’s the future" to "i always knew" fr needs to be studied.
mind you, the person everyone is criticizing for rugging today was evangelized just last week had you said anything negative, you would’ve been crucified. same old story new character.

ayo @elonmusk bro, i'm an easy target. i let CT influence my financial decisions, i still click phishing links, i got rugged by a jpeg, i get manipulated by a 20% discount, i got outsmarted by a captcha yesterday, i trust people with cartoon pfps (i got a cartoon pfp), i outsource my opinions to quote tweets. i'm cooked my only defense is being too broke to be worth manipulating.
So many people are going to get one-shotted by super persuasive super intelligences and I might be one of them

always nice seeing two ppl i respect a lot in crypto stand up for another one i really believe in. i was so tired of the unreasonable takes aaand yeah, couldn’t agree more, betting on builders who show up and keep shipping, always. chapeau @0xGeeGee and @Zeneca
hear hear i've invested in 75+ projects and founders in this space sure the price action isn't ideal but serp is one of the good ones and i am infinitely happier with my investment in ethos over 90% of the other vaporware projects and fairweather founders that have graced the crypto space over the last 5 years serp has shown up every day forever trying to solve a real problem and idc whether my investment goes to zero or not (btw spoiler alert, when you invest in early stage companies you should expect your money to go to zero more often than not cause BUILDING SHIT IS HARD) sure there are things that could have been done better but i'll never jump on the hate train for serp, he's a real one and if he ever has another venture i'll back that too regardless of how ethos/whuf/etc turns out and i'm still optimistic cause ethos is a legit product and a solution to a very real problem in crypto (and the world), and serp and the team are still showing up and planning and building and shipping and that's exactly the type of founder i will always want to bet on

nvidia catching strays in every industry, bros
Fun fact of the day: Bitcoin mining cost is split about 50/50 between compute capex and electricity. Meanwhile, AI inference is almost completely dominated by compute capex.
