Sovereign broadband satellite communications, built by two proven partners. ICEYE brings the satellite platform and constellation operations behind its sovereign missions. @nokia brings secure networking and orchestration. Meet the partnership → hubs.li/Q04BwGVL0

13 months before @ITU WRC-27, satellite & terrestrial operators remain far apart on satelilte D2D interference with terrestrial at national borders. One problem: interference studies come to different conclusions. @CST_KSA @gsacom @bnetza @GSOA_SAT. spaceintelreport.com/13-mont…

Still waiting for further tracking data to confirm this, but this seems an unprecedented step by Russia if correct. I don't think it quite violates the Outer Space Treaty though (but IANAL)
Replying to @planet4589 @avrnz
New TLEs show that K2612 made a manuever on Oct 16 and is now stationkeeping within 5 km or less of ICEYE X36. To my knowledge this is the first LEO rendezvous of two active satellites where the owner of one of the sats did not give approval.

"Launching at a high cadence requires a connected system - one that manufactures vehicles at scale, prepares customer payloads efficiently, supports reliable launch operations, and quickly returns reusable boosters to service. We are building that system here in Florida." Read more from our Senior Vice President of Operations Ian Richardson. bit.ly/4hRC0xe

Two football fields. That’s roughly how close Otter Pup 2 is now regularly operating next to @GilmourSpace’s ElaraSat, fully autonomously. This puts Otter Pup 2 on a very short list of spacecraft in human history. This video was captured from just 200 meters away as Otter Pup 2 conducted close proximity operations around ElaraSat. Otter Pup 2 is capturing images like these and using them to track and predict the position and orientation of ElaraSat on an ongoing basis. We’ve gone from thousands of kilometers to hundreds of meters away, continuing to test, iterate and validate our technology along the way. And Otter Pup 2 is not done getting closer, as it continues its mission to make history.

🚨 The @RenewEurope Group in the European Parliament has officially asked President @vonderleyen and President @eucopresident to take action after Starlink/Starshield cuts. Let’s use European programme GovSatCom and 🇪🇺 commercial capacities to help Ukraine, now.
1/3 Europe has satellite capacity. We need to mobilise it for Ukraine NOW. As @RenewEurope rapporteur on the EU Space Programme, I know we have concrete options. Ukraine’s defence cannot depend on Trump's or Musk's whims. 1/3 politico.eu/article/ukraine-…
