These are dried persimmons (aka hashigaki) we used in our recent collaboration beer with @longovenrva🖤 After Chef Manning prepared these, we put lots of them into wine barrels before filling them with a wort made with pilsner malt, wheat, smoked hay, Job’s tears, and aged hops🍷
