Had a great time joining @Jason on @ThisWeeknAI alongside @dsa and @gautam_narang . Really enjoyed the conversation and hearing everyone’s perspective. Thanks for having me on!
Dwarkesh's 'agent civilizations' blog post has divided the internet. Is this a helpful and methodical look behind the curtain at the OpenAI/Hugging Face breach? Or is this more of a hysterical AI Doomerism that will ultimately be used to make the case for banning data centers? Or BOTH? Your business doesn't run on six apps. It runs despite them. Leasing in one tool. Maintenance in another. Accounting in a third. Every handoff is a chance for work to fall through the cracks. Path is one system built around how you actually operate.

Every business eventually hits the same wall: the tool we bought doesn’t quite do what we need.

The next decade of category winners will create tools that give 1-3-person businesses the power of 50-100 person organizations. Millennials already own ~16% of SMBs (up 27% since 2023). An $84T wealth transfer is underway. And in 2023 alone, there were 5.5M+ new business applications. These new owners are digital-native. They default to software for ops, finance, sales, marketing, and support. Whoever owns that stack for small teams owns the next cycle.

Best accelerator class in our history right now… if you’re an angel investor of seed fund, please DM the @LAUNCH account to come to an accelerator session … or simply contact this weeks highest ranked startups at the @ handles below. [ for background, every week we ask our 15 investor partners to pick their top three startups. 1st place is 2 points, 2nd place is 1 point and 3rd place is .5 points. We total these and keep track each week. Now we are sharing the rankings every week…. So you can meet these founders BEFORE demo day!!! As opposed to YC which everyone knows, gives their top performing companies to their insiders. Which is like taking all the aces and kings out the deck… hard to win that rigged game! ]
🚀 LA35 was back this week with another pitch session to investors! Congrats to @WeAreRedii (@amignot), @LumixAds (@jonathan_sherm), @pathsystems (@billykraft) & @treasure_social (@smallchano), for snagging the most investor votes 💪
