I am very excited to present my publication out of the @pashucklab, Quantifying and Controlling the Proteolytic Degradation of Cell Adhesion Peptides! We synthesized peptide libraries to investigate non-specific degradation within a biomaterials context.

Hi! I am excited to share a new paper led by @RozansSam We all love peptides and put them in biomaterials, but don't often think about how stable they are during culture. Sam and co-workers synthesized a series of peptide libraries and incubated them with different cell types.
They found non-specific degradation can be very rapid (<24 hours), but it's heavily dependent on the endgroup chemistry. RGD peptides which are rapidly degraded can even reduce cell spreading in gels. Find out more at: bit.ly/4eYiWK4
