We are 10 days into the escalation in the 8-year-long war between russia and Ukraine. But if you look at history – Ukraine is fighting for its independence from russia for ~300+ years. Thread 🧵:

Ballistic missile interception is difficult.
Gece antrenmanında beyzbol sopasıyla havaya fırlatılan topları vurmaya çalışan sporcunun ısrarlı denemeleri paylaşıldı: 🔺 Sporcu, stant üstündeki topa vurup aynı anda havaya yükselen diğer topları da ıskalamadan vurmayı hedefliyor. 🔺 Üst üste yapılan denemelerde bazı toplar tam ısırılırken bazı vuruşlar az farkla kaçıyor. 🔺 Son atışlarda ritmi yakalayan sporcu, peş peşe isabetli vuruşlar yaparak antrenmanı tamamlıyor.

Чогось гіршого для свого рейтингу Зе ще не робив. Рендомні рокіровки, відсутність комунікації, мовчання на важливі теми, нардепи які у відпустку звалили. Ще трохи і це потенціал на повноцінний новий Майдан.

In the Treaty of Buczacz 1672, both the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth and the Ottoman Empire referred to the Cossack Hetmanate as the “Ukrainian State (Ukraińskie Państwo).” Communism did not exist at that time.
Replying to @bachutebe
You do realize that Ukraine would not exist without communism right

800 Patriot missiles were used for air defense in just 3 days in the Middle East. Ukraine received 600 in 4 years of full-scale war. Russia, Iran and North Korea form a new Axis of Evil. Ukraine was the first to confront this Axis. We continue to fight, but we need support. The free world must stop managing this threat — and start defeating it.

That's the result of your donations to the Ready Drone One project 💥 Last September, we delivered 150 fiber-optic FPV drones to the 2nd Galician Brigade. Thanks to that, the FPV pilots can destroy the russian troops and vehicles. We greatly appreciate your support in this project! Every donation was translated into real results on the front lines.

Worked with Anastasia for a couple years. #russiaisaterroriststate
💔 In the photo — three friends: Anastasiya Yalanska (26), Serhiy Ustymenko (25), and Maksym Kuzmenko (28). They didn’t yet know that this moment would be the last evidence of their lives. Just a few kilometers from where this picture was taken, an ambush awaited them—one no one would survive. On the morning of March 4, 2022, the friends loaded Serhiy’s SUV with animal food. Their plan was simple: deliver supplies to a shelter in Zabuchchya and visit Serhiy’s parents in Bucha. They knew it was dangerous, but they couldn’t imagine that the russian occupation of the city had already begun, and the streets had turned into sites of mass executions. They never made it to Serhiy’s parents’ home. russian soldiers fired around a hundred bullets at their car. Maksym was killed instantly by a headshot. Anastasiya managed to jump out of the vehicle, but she was shot in the legs. Serhiy also ran out, trying to shield his friend. “They just finished them off,” Anastasiya’s mother recalls. The bodies could only be retrieved from the street that afternoon, once the occupiers had moved further into the city center. Serhiy’s parents buried their son and his friends right in their own yard. 🗣️ “Neighbors dug the grave. Valeriy (Serhiy’s father) washed the children because I couldn’t handle it. I wrote each child’s full name and date of birth and added: ‘Shot on March 4, 2022.’ If we had been killed or bombed, I didn’t want the children to remain unidentified,” Serhiy’s mother recalls. Only after Bucha was liberated were the friends properly reburied. Forensics confirmed the brutality of that morning: Maksym had two gunshot wounds, Anastasiya was hit six times, and Serhiy nine times. russia must pay. The world has no right to stay silent. The world must scream.

The IOC has banned not the Ukrainian athlete, but its own reputation. Future generations will recall this as a moment of shame. He simply wanted to commemorate fellow athletes killed in war. There is nothing wrong with that under any rules or ethics. The IOC intimidated, disrespected, and even lectured our athlete and other Ukrainians on how they should keep quiet about “one of 130 conflicts in the world”. The IOC has also systemically failed to confront the greatest abuser of international sports and the Olympic Charter — Russia. A country that started three invasions during the Olympic Truce in the past three decades, implemented the largest state-funded doping program, killed 650 Ukrainian athletes and coaches, and damaged 800 sports facilities in Ukraine. These are Russians who must be banned, not the commemoration of their victims. None of them are “neutral”. If the Olympic Creed says that “the most important thing in the Olympic Games is not to win but to take part”, then @iocmedia betrayed it completely by preventing @heraskevych from taking part and betrayed 650 Ukrainian athletes and coaches killed by Russia. We are proud to have Vladyslav who has not betrayed them. Thank you for your principles and bravery.

Ukrainian skeleton racer Vladyslav Heraskevych’s memory helmet shows the faces of Ukrainian athletes and coaches killed by Russia’s war. The International Olympic Committee has disqualified him for wearing it – undermining its own reputation. This decision is a shameful betrayal of Olympic values. More than 650 Ukrainian athletes and coaches have lost their lives because of Russia’s war. Remembering them is an act of dignity and courage.

I want to thank everyone for all the support we’re receiving. There really is an incredible amount of it. For me, the sacrifice of the people depicted on the helmet means more than any medal ever could - because they gave the most precious thing they had. And simple respect toward them is exactly what I want to give.

The Ready Drone One project is finished! We've raised over $125,000, and the Lviv Region Military Administration has matched an additional $60,000, enabling us to deliver 150 fiber-optic drones of various sizes. We also purchased 5 laptops and 2 fiber-optic drone control stations for the 2nd Galician Brigade. Thank you so much for your support! We hope to share videos with hits from these drones, so stay tuned for more content 🐾
