I help doctors and wellness professionals launch YouTube Channels and Marketing campaigns that drive clients without getting banned or blacklisted.
And it’s all I’ve ever done.
You will RARELY be in a position where you MUST make a life-changing medical decision RIGHT NOW in the hospital.
Say, “Thank you Dr. You’ve given us a lot to consider. We’re going to discuss and get back with you soon.”
That’s all you have to say.
Work with people you love and in whose mission you believe in.
My YouTube feed is full of my clients videos and I’m commenting on them and they are commenting back and other clients are commenting too and it’s like this incredible community.
Were not recording in privtae at 3am with Mt Dew. That was phase 1.
Now - we’re building the relationships that will make the chapters of the stories of our life and our YouTube/iG channels are the vehicle.
MAKE IT MAKE SENSE… a critique of the YouTube YPP policy.
When every youtuber was building an outdoor hut and sleeping in it last year…
Was that repetitive content?
Feels like it.
Was that inauthentic content?
Feels like it.
But YouTube says it’s “always” had this policy.
What about when Mr Beast spun around in a chair for 7 days… was that “low-budget” or “low-effort” content?
Feels like it.
But YouTube says it’s “always” had this policy…
Runway. Act 2.
Absolutely unbelievable. Every idea will be created.

On YouTube, one of the biggest retention drops usually happens right after the first segment ends. But it’s not just then. It’s every time a segment ends. This drop is so common that it received its own name. So let’s talk about segmentation loss.
Segmentation loss is the natural loss of interest after a segment ends.
It can happen because people didn’t enjoy the last part.
It can happen because we fail to excite them for the next segment.
But segmentation loss is more complicated than that.
We often think that when we lose people early, this is a bad thing. Sometimes it can be a good thing. Let me explain.
Not all videos are meant to make viewers watch until the end. The obvious ones would be educational content where people just need enough information to move onwards. This is called: early satisfaction.
But even in the higher-production entertainment pieces, we don’t always crave to watch an entire video. One, two segments and we could be satisfied.
So while segmentation loss is a natural loss of interest; that loss could come from many things: early satisfaction, lengthy transitions, failure to re-hook, and so much more. The hardest part? Figuring out which of these it actually is.
So what’s the lesson here? Well, the next time you notice segmentation loss, don’t think it’s always because something bad is happening. Sometimes your earlier segments were satisfying enough for the viewer. Think holistically and consider every possibility for why the viewer might have left your video.
Bonus tip: the viewer could also lose interest because they don’t think you’re able to deliver enough extra value. They may feel like the entire video doesn’t have much more to offer. That’s where teasers, in-video chaptering, and so on play a significant role.

30+ cancer fighters on our Beat Cancer Call this month with Dr Jake who is an Integrative Doctor.
We invite various Doctors, Therapists, and practitioners to speak to patients in our private group. Who should we invite next month?
My brother is a balloon artist and my sister is a stand-up comedian and since I’m a YouTuber my parents are shocked we can feed ourselves.
The hardest part of surviving cancer is surviving friends who watched my journey but chose to do the standard of care.
I beat stage 4 metastatic cancer without chemo or radiation and I followed the 9 steps outlined in the book @RadicalRemiss (radical remission) by Dr Kelly Turner.
