Re the CFz theme! We had it as one of the possible choices because we want to celebrate those in the fandom that design, create, make all the things that allow us to express our identities. Allow us to show our individual styles - this theme is for everybody.

The 15th-century Earl of York wrote a list of all acceptable names for a hunting dog. They include Jolybronde, Pratte, Halibutte, Wastepayne, and Rude.

As our group went our separate ways, our friend remarked that it felt good to leave the Stolpersteine in better shape than we found them. David added that it wasn’t just meaningful for us, but also for the people who saw us cleaning. Hopefully, these plaques will shine a little brighter, and the roses left behind will remind others that someone worthy of remembrance once lived here.

You don’t have community because you aren’t a good community member. You don’t host events, you don’t know how to cook, you don’t know how to dance, you don’t know how to sing, and you aren’t doing anything to learn. You can’t tell stories or jokes.

The internet is no longer forever. You need to become your own archivist for whatever you are passionate about, because at some point this decade there is going to be a major purge and I strongly suspect >80% of global digital content will simply disappear.
Internet Archive has not been archiving since 10/8.
Google Cache has stopped caching.
The Alexa service - the one that used to rank web traffic (not the Amazon virtual assistant) is gone.
The ability of censors to memory-hole the internet is growing.
