Private DeFi just got effortless. RAILGUN-integrated wallets let you hit any vault, perp, swap, or Ethereum app in a few clicks. Deploy the Railcat agents. It's time for some education.

Imagine you could shield any token on Ethereum. Imagine you could actually do things with DeFi, privately. @RAILGUN_Project is private DeFi for holding tokens, sending payments, and general DeFi applications (DEX swaps, yield vaults)... but you don't have to touch ZEC. Download the @anondotinc wallet for Railgun below. ethereum:0xe76c6c83af64e4c60245d8c7de953df673a7a33d
🚀 Anon.inc has officially reached 15M in shielded and unshielded volume! Wallet usage is increasing more and more everyday. Here is to our mission - making onchain privacy practical and easy to use for everyone! 🍻 Check out the wallet at anon.inc/download.

Meeting Recorder 1.3 is out, with two big features: - Actions: a lot of you asked for this one. Run your own scripts on a meeting, like storing the transcript in Obsidian or publishing it. Your default agent can do the thinking. - Multiple windows: open a new meeting while the last one is still transcribing. github.com/jankeesvw/omarchy…

The alliance between Canada and Europe is not defined by what we oppose. It is about what we are for: freedom, solidarity, prosperity, sustainability. An alliance strong enough so that no one can dictate our choices. Europe and Canada are each strong. Europe and Canada are even stronger together. An honour to address the European parliament today.

> be Alyssa Rosenzweig > look at Apple's M1 GPU and see a black box > Apple provides almost no public hardware documentation > decide to figure out how the GPU works anyway > start reverse-engineering Apple's GPU interfaces in 2021 > use macOS itself as the closest thing to documentation > get a triangle rendering on the M1 within weeks > realize the impossible-looking problem might actually be solvable > join forces with the Asahi Linux community > build an open-source graphics stack from scratch > keep reverse-engineering hardware Apple never documented publicly > eventually reach conformant OpenGL 4.6 and Vulkan 1.4 > make Apple's M1 and M2 GPUs work properly under Linux > turn a completely closed GPU into an open platform > prove that undocumented hardware can still be understood > become one of the leading voices in open-source graphics

This really is a bonkers fundraising run! But the money was always there. It just needed a place to go that wasn't poisoned by a deep hatred of commerce and capitalism. Omarchy salutes progress and prosperity! omarchy.org/patrons/

I still think BTC & ZEC are complements. Yes ZEC has "better tech", and yes the particular tech (strong privacy) matters for store of value. But much of what makes Bitcoin special is simply not replicable. I wish both more Bitcoiners & more Zcashers would understand both points!

Not a simple question. I think the whole idea of non-sovereign digital money got pretty lucky with Satoshi; the things he prioritized, the way he went about launch and community management, etc: xitter.cf/i/status/1742546410212… . Ie, I think the counterfactual where Bitcoin was started under a corporate umbrella with a named CEO, etc, would've been strictly worse and less likely to capture the global mindshare bitcoin has captured. Also, I view btc and zec as making a fundamental tradeoff: xitter.cf/i/status/2051300451312… . That said, formal verification and AI security auditing may pull the inflation bug concern into almost negligable territory, which is great. I guess to directly answer your Q, if Zcash had launched with Ironwood's zk tech (no trusted setup, fast txns, formal verification, etc), *and* had been first, *and* had launched the system and community like satoshi did with no dev fund, no company, no identifiable founder, etc, then yes I think zec would be in the durably dominant position. But that is a tall counterfactual!

Really brutal. The phishing email is written quite convincingly, and it comes from the official Trezor domain. At least tens of millions will be lost; hopefully not hundreds of millions. Insane f*ckup from Trezor.
Our third-party e-mail provider has been breached. Please be aware that the email named ‘Critical Security Alert: STM32 Entropy Vulnerability’ is not coming from us, and it’s a phishing attempt. Do not click on any link. We have taken down the domain, and we are investigating the situation, including how the hackers got access to our legit domain.

Yield Basis proved its model this year. The protocol launched less than a year ago and has already gone through multiple rounds of iteration. People were surprised at first, but the crazy market volatility forced the real problems into the open: TRD included, along with the stress its leverage puts on crvUSD. I got lucky enough to sit down with @llamaintern in person, and I walked away convinced that is far more scalable now. The BTC yields they're projecting could hold at many multiples of today's capital, and that's crazy. The YB token is also one of the few tokens on my list. I'll probably start buying soon. This feels like the first cycle where DeFi is being run by real, revenue-generating companies. Inflation over the next 365 days is around 100%, but the upside is brutal.

Just built my first Omarchy plugin! This also happens to be the first piece of software I've ever made solo entirely with AI. Back-and-forth over English and nothing else. So two firsts for me. Super fun experience. Here's a quick little tour. Hope you dig it.

For those that deposited in the deprecated WETH pool and have been waiting for TRD to come down, now would be a good time to migrate

Watch for the breakout 👀 It’s going to be violent to the upside. Pools are going to earn 2x better than before. Looping is coming. That means you’ll get 20-30% APR on just BTC. No Impermanent Loss. Yield in BTC. ethereum:0x01791f726b4103694969820be083196cc7c045ff
