The official campaigns for the 2027 elections will soon kick off nationwide.
Take 1 minute and ponder on these hard facts!
1. No face cap can cover your hunger for 4 years.
2. No T-Shirt can protect you from insecurity for 4 years.
3. 5kg rice cannot help your belly for 4 years.
4. 1 litre of groundnut oil cannot sustain your kitchen for 4 years.
5. 4 yards of Ankara cannot cover poverty for 4 years.
6. If someone offers you 10k for campaign or voting, ask yourself this question.
How much do they give to their children as pocket money per month?
7. Remember, your 10k is for 4 years and it is once and for all.
8. Think about your value. Think about your voice. Think about your future. You are also human and you must not die on the crumbs table!
9. Politicians are not more Nigerian than you are. The power is in your hands.
10. If the best candidate does not have the chance to win, waste your vote on him without a second thought.
11. It is better to live a fulfilled life than voting for your own problems.
It is the best thing to do. You have a chance to speak in the future.
12. Remember you are not suffering as a Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo, Nupe, Igala,Tiv or Jukun but as a Nigerian. Reject all ethnical cards that are unfavourable to your future.
13. They will visit you during campaign but you will never see them again until the next campaign.
14. Work for an accountable candidate.
15. Election is local but politics is international.
The outcome of election will not only affect you, it affects all Nigerians irrespective of where they are.
16. Think about the character and integrity of your candidate.
17. Don't submit yourself as campaign thug, the children of politicians are enjoying abroad. They don't go out with knife gun or charms. Their lives are very important to their parents.
Be Wise!

Look at our children enjoying a peaceful boat ride with their peers from other countries here in Rome.
We will continue to make education fun, entertaining, and rewarding for our children.
In 10 years, I pray you will be alive to see what this generation of our children will become through our sustained effort.
They will be greater than we have ever been.

There is a false tribal narrative being circulated claiming that we dropped a Yoruba child to replace him with an Igbo child for the International STEM Olympiad in Rome.
That claim is completely false.
This is the full live stream of the 2026 South East Maths Olympiad Grand Finale, where the winners emerged. Our selection process was conducted publicly because we believe transparency is the best way to protect integrity.
We deliberately stream our competitions live so everyone can see how winners are determined. Our goal is simple: ensure that the right children win based on merit, not ethnicity, religion, connections or influence.
We are building a generation that believes hard work is rewarded. Merit is not negotiable.

Nigeria's children deserve better than tribal propaganda. They deserve fairness.
I stopped taking Nigerians seriously after the last election. They are unified by suffering and will jointly complain but when it's time to vote a credible solution they suddenly suspend their brains for tribalism. Then complain again until the next election. And repeat. – at United Kingdom

We are busy building night clubs and shouting "money na water" in the East while Dangote and BUA are moving mountains in the North.
When BUA and Dangote finally become to Nigeria what Samsung is to South Korea, I hope we don’t cry fowl!
They compete on industrial and corporate level. In Cement, Sugar and Foods. Dangote is also in Oil. BUA has POP.
Dangote is now planning to expand into steel production, electricity generation and port development as part of a broader ambition to accelerate industrialisation across Africa.
BUA opened a PVC board factory in PH.
My own brothers are currently opening clubs with artificial profits and buying Rolls Royce, Maybach, Ferrari and Range Rover of billions of Naira, taking photos in private jets. Building a single house in their village with 30rooms that they aren't using.
Every Christmas, they gather their kinsmen and share them rice. Turning abled bodied people to almajiri. No industry! No hospitals! No labs! No agriculture! No Enterprise! Just noise!
Check out Samsung in South Korea, that’s where Dangote is heading. Very soon the Nigerian economy will be sustained majorly by Dangote, then we'll shout monopoly!
Dangote once asked “Why are you people buying private jets where there are no industries?”
Peter Obi once said “Wealth without enterprise”.
Another shout out goes to Innoson and Coscharis for their penetration into the automotive industry.
In order to gain relevance, they're clamoring for CITY BOYS MOVEMENT!

Do you still have a digital copy of your final-year research project, and would you be willing to share it for our online repository for African research?

Tertiary Education; the National Universities Commission (NUC) and the Need for Urgent Reform
The National Universities Commission (NUC) in Nigeria was established to regulate university education, ensure quality standards, and drive the nation’s higher education sector toward global competitiveness. However, over the decades, it has become an institution plagued by bureaucracy, outdated policies, and inefficiencies that have stifled the growth of Nigeria’s universities. The NUC’s fundamental problem is not just one of administration but of structure, vision, and execution. It operates with an archaic mindset that is out of touch with modern realities, making it a bottleneck rather than an enabler of progress.
Fundamental Issues with the NUC
1.Rigid and Outdated Policies
The NUC operates on policies that have failed to evolve with the demands of a 21st-century knowledge economy. Its curriculum regulations are often too rigid, limiting innovation in course design and the integration of modern technology into education. Many of its accreditation requirements do not align with global best practices, resulting in Nigerian universities producing graduates who struggle to compete internationally.
2.Excessive Bureaucracy and Overregulation
The NUC’s overbearing regulatory control stifles universities rather than empowers them. Instead of creating an enabling environment for institutions to thrive, the commission enforces a one-size-fits-all approach that ignores the unique strengths and needs of different universities. Accreditation and approval processes are unnecessarily cumbersome, leading to delays in course approvals, faculty recruitment, and infrastructure development.
3.Lack of Autonomy for Universities
One of the biggest flaws in Nigeria’s university education system is the excessive centralization of power in the NUC. Most universities have little autonomy in designing their programs, setting tuition fees, or engaging in partnerships with industries. In contrast, universities in the West operate with a high degree of independence, allowing them to adapt quickly to changes in demand for skills and knowledge.
4.Poor Funding and Mismanagement
While the Nigerian government chronically underfunds the education sector, the NUC has also failed in ensuring that the available funds are efficiently managed. There is little oversight over how universities utilize their resources, and corruption remains a significant issue. Without proper financial accountability, even well-intended policies struggle to make an impact.
5.Incompetent Leadership and Resistance to Reform
The NUC has, for too long, been led by practitioners deeply entrenched in the old ways of managing education. What Nigeria needs is a reform-minded leader with experience in administration, policy execution, and innovation—someone who understands global educational trends and can push for the kind of structural change that will make Nigerian universities competitive. Similarly, the Minister of Education must be a serious-minded professional committed to overhauling the broken system rather than merely maintaining the status quo.
Reforming University Education in Nigeria
To move forward, Nigeria needs a bold and systemic reform of its university education. Here are some key steps:
1.Decentralization and Institutional Autonomy
Universities should be granted greater autonomy to design curricula, manage finances, and engage in strategic partnerships. The NUC should act more as a facilitator and quality assurance body rather than an overbearing regulator.
2.Curriculum Overhaul and Industry Alignment
Nigerian universities must shift from theoretical, outdated curricula to programs that align with current industry demands. This means integrating courses on artificial intelligence, digital marketing, data science, and entrepreneurship while reducing the overemphasis on note memorization and outdated textbooks. 1/2
