This week I’ve seen men ridicule women for dressing “too provocatively” and other men ridicule Muslim women for dressing “too conservatively,” and its a reminder that maybe men should shut the hell up, stop worrying about how women dress, and instead expend their energy on getting men to stop raping and abusing women. This is not a high bar.

Great war leaders like Zelensky are derided by bad and corrupt leaders like Trump. What a time to be alive.

From Adam Coppin, veteran and good friend, presently in the Falklands, on a tour of remembrance: "I messaged Mark Dodsworths wife to tell her that I/we visited her husbands headstone on Mount Longdon. She was so pleased that I stopped to have a chat with her beloved husband. She thinks about Mark every day." We remember Mark, and all the fallen of the Falklands War.

Every year I share this,
For those of you that haven't seen it before it was drawn by my Dad,
Who was there,
Not digging for coal,
But digging for children,
This is his abiding memory of that day,
He will never forget,
And neither should we.

BREAKING: In a stunning moment, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy just went on TV and made clear that Donald Trump is abandoning Ukraine. Just weeks after Don Jr's wedding paid for by a Russian oligarch, this happens. The corruption is astounding.

Why have you been claiming £25k-39k a year for a London flat?
The commute from your owned property is easy.
You could stay at a Premier Inn on odd nights when you can't get back. You don't need a fecking 3k a month London flat.
Parasite.

Zia Yusuf styles himself Shadow Home Secretary. He has no right to that title. He is not even a Member of Parliament.
The real Shadow Home Secretary is Chris Philp, the Conservative MP appointed by the Leader of the Official Opposition.
Yesterday Andrea Jenkyns claimed she signed a landmark trade agreement between Lincolnshire and Taiwan.
A mayor has no power to sign international trade deals. Trade policy is reserved to the Westminster government.
At best she signed a non binding MOU.
This is not politics. This is cosplay. Pure theatre from a party that pretends to be the government it is not.

Neither man could possibly have imagined that just one generation later, Europe would be defending itself against both of their future successors.
What is happening is truly unfathomable.

President Zelensky refusing to surrender 20% of his country to Russia is not an “obstacle.”
Russia demanding 20% of Ukraine is.

My 80-year-old neighbour ran out of her blood pressure medication three days ago because she couldn't outsmart an AI voice tree.
She called the pharmacy:
“Press 1 if you have the app. Press 2 to receive a text link. Say 'Refill' to speak to the digital assistant.”
She kept repeating, “I just need my pills, dear.”
The automated system told her: “I didn't understand that response,” looped three times, and hung up on her.
She didn't want to bother her kids at work, so she just started cutting her remaining pills in halves, then in quarters, trying to stretch them. When I checked on her this morning, her blood pressure was 195/110 and she was so dizzy she couldn't stand.
I drove down to the store, stood at the counter, and had the refill in four minutes.
The pharmacist told me: “Corporate cut our phone staff last year to push customers toward the mobile app.”
If a senior citizen has to risk a stroke because your board of directors wanted to trim payroll with an automated phone loop, your business model is predatory. Full stop.
I’ve just heard on @BBCNews that Russell Brand’s defence barrister questioning a victim said ‘ you could have struggled more’. Are we in 1976? I can’t quite believe that can be said in a UK court by a legal professional in 2026. Victim blaming is still going on. Shameful language
Hey @easyJet you’ve cancelled our flight from Berlin to London and we have 42 students with us. We’ve had no information, offers of food vouchers or seen anyone, just told to collect our baggage and shoved back to arrivals. It’s been over 4 hours now. Poor poor show.

90% of England’s water industry is foreign owned.
The result has been low investment, high customer bills, raw sewage in rivers, over 1,200 criminal convictions, and harms to nature, health and national security.
Public ownership is needed.
Watch the Minister's reply.

TWO TRUTH TELLERS, ONE FARCE
You tell one honest thing at work and regret it.
In 2003, civil servants Katharine Gun and David Kelly did exactly that about Iraq, and the government treated both as the problem.
Katharine Gun was a translator at @GCHQ, Britain's electronic spy agency. David Kelly was a weapons expert at the Ministry of Defence @DefenceHQ.
In January 2003, Katharine Gun read an email from America's NSA asking GCHQ to spy on six UN Security Council countries and lean on their votes for the Iraq invasion.
She leaked it to @ObserverUK, which printed it in March. David Kelly spoke to @BBC reporter Andrew Gilligan about the government's Iraq weapons report.
Katharine Gun was charged under the Official Secrets Act and faced two years in prison.
The ministry confirmed David Kelly's name to journalists who guessed it, after a meeting chaired by Tony Blair.
3 days after MPs questioned him, David Kelly was found dead.
Lord Brian Hutton, a judge the government appointed, largely cleared the government on 28 January 2004. Shocking scenes.
@BBC chairman and director general resigned, and David Kelly's inquest was suspended and never resumed.
4 weeks later, on 25 February 2004, the prosecution offered no evidence against Katharine Gun and gave no reason.
@guardian reported in 2019 that the case was dropped because evidence would allegedly emerge that government lawyers thought the war illegal.
The Chilcot inquiry ran to 2.6 million words and never mentioned Katharine Gun.
Proper thorough, that.

Trump, JD Vance and Marco Rubio: “Ukraine must stop bombing Russian oil refineries!”
Ukraine: A dead child sits in a pushchair, killed by Russia.
To the United States: You will never recover from the moral disgrace of this.
A horrific Russian strike in the Kharkiv region. A “shahed” struck people directly – in a park near an ordinary café. Pure atrocity. Six people were killed, including children. A little girl was killed in a stroller – her name was Angelina, she was just over a year old, born in August 2025… Her mother’s name was Inna. She died in the hospital… Another girl who was killed was 11 years old. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Another 14 people were injured, including six more children.
I am grateful to everyone who supports Ukraine under these circumstances and helps us shoot down “shaheds,” shoot down missiles, and stop Russian assaults. These are horrific photos, but behind them are shattered lives and the truth about this war. Lives must be protected. Ukraine needs air defense. You can't think about making money with Russia as long as it continues its asinine war. We ask that sanctions on Russia stay in place as long as the killings continue. We ask America to be strong, and we ask it to apply the Lindsey Graham law. We ask Europe to continue its support. We ask that everything possible be done to bring peace and guarantee security. Ukraine wants peace. It is Russia that has insisted on continuing the killing all this time. The world has enough strength to stop the war. That strength must finally be used – against the murderers.
