After Helene, North Carolina was the fastest state to seek support from @fema to buy out damaged homes after a major hurricane in more than two decades. I am grateful that FEMA dollars are continuing to get out the door faster and into communities in North Carolina. More than $40 million from FEMA is on the way to support ongoing storm recovery projects across the state as we continue to rebuild more resiliently against future storms.

Profound: Our culture has accepted two huge lies:
1. If you disagree with someone’s lifestyle, you must fear or hate them.
2. To Love someone means you agree with everything they believe and do.
Both of these concepts are nonsense. You do not have to compromise your personal convictions to be compassionate.l

We are an EASTER PEOPLE… and an EASTER CHURCH!
No matter the darkness…
No matter the cross…
No matter the tomb…
RESURRECTION gets the final word.
So we rise.
We believe.
We live with HOPE.
Alleluia isn’t just a word—
it’s who we are.

Could someone tell both the democrats and republicans that the save act has too much unrelated and un aligned issues in It? Vote on each one so people Can get paid and air traffic move freely. Then negotiate those you can’t agree on with simple vote.
Reading X posts I can’t imagine what Republican members of Congress could post if they couldn’t blame Democrats for Republican inability to pass legislation even with a majority in both Houses and the presidency. Blame is not a solution folks.

Science Camp 2026 was a blast! We teamed up with Discovery Education for standards-driven, hands-on learning tailored to our school’s needs. Our students explored erosion vs. weathering and the phases of the moon. It was a great day of diving into science! #YourBestChoiceMDCPS

I found No.1 to be true becoming a Baldrige examiner. By using the criteria to examine health care and non profits I became a much more effective leader in education. No question.
