1/N Happy #FPGAFriday! I just wanted to give a quick description of why this is different than previous designs. None of my previous GPUs were designed to be practically useable. I hardcoded vertices/shaders/texels in a BRAM to test rasterization/texcache/and shaders. They were…
OK guess this is goodbye, twitter. Any interested parties can see me at the other place, same username
Getting hundreds of adds per day over at The Other Place, so I guess we’re really all moving now? Guess it’s time to ruin another service with my unsolicited FPGA bad takes and SPU supremacy? I’ll probably keep my twitter account for archival purposes as I move over

PS2 VU's were great! I used EE + VU0 + VU1 in triple-core lockstep for fast vertex transform/cull/draw to the GS.
COP interface was used to pass data from EE->VU0->VU1->GS without need of VIF0 or VIF1.

Azerbaijan is wild! I feel like I don’t make enough money to even be allowed to get off the train here
Think I may have had a stroke today, because I told my coworker that I didn’t remember 最終兵器彼女 being so traumatic
Back still really hurts, so I’m going to continue dispensing life wisdom
So maybe don’t, like, go out of your way to intentionally teach your cat what buttons to press to turn on the fan. Doubly so if you have a cat that looks for ways to get you out of bed at night
I was gonna write some tweets about how graphics twitter changed over the last 15 years, but now I’m kinda wondering if I’m just too old for twitter :)
Currently in so much back pain I can hardly move, so not much else I can do besides tweet out random wisdom
If your friend makes a game, don’t ask them for a free code. Just buy the game with your own damn money, if you can afford it

Johnny Somali is facing 10 years in a Korean prison. Normally I’d be so thrilled about this, but I can’t help but think it should have been us to lock him up. What a wasted opportunity, although it was fun watching roving groups of Korean kids hunt him down and beat him up

Looks like someone smarter than me also thinks gaijin twitter is actively making life harder for those of us just trying to live our lives here
I feel like I know some real smart kidz that would legally be able to contribute to this
Pleased to announce that the PaRappa the Rapper 2 decompilation project has reached over 50% of completion.
I'm looking for experienced people who are able to contribute, so please, spread the word - it'd be massively appreciated.

I don’t post about politics because my opinions are uninformed, unoriginal, and uninteresting. But I can factually state, with zero opinion, that alot of people I care very much about are about to be in a whole lot of very scary trouble with America’s far right descent
Great resource for practicing your work japanese
