If you want to know where the unaccounted for 65K XRP are (plus some IOU's). In 29 transactions, XRP was debited from one account and never credited to another. It was destroyed by a bug in rippled’s payment engine in 2013–14, fixed in July 2014. github.com/rippleitinnz/Wher…

Xahau is getting *on-chain manifests*. A technical feature that helps keep the network robustly decentralized. Rather than having validators "gossip" their manifests between nodes haphazardly, which can lead to spam and/or poor coverage, manifests are treated as signed txns 1/
