I have compiled my interviews based on decades of living with disabilities, repeated homelessness, multiple mental illnesses, invasive addictions, and also new lived experience based advocacy and activism now that I am finally safe after two decades: LINKTREE: linktr.ee/odspoor - contains all of my interviews with TVO, CTV's W5, CBC, Toronto Star, Al Jazeera, The Walrus, Trillium, Ricochet, The Monitor, Times of London, IJF, Famous Youtubers, and in news articles - topics include legislated poverty, MAiD coercion for track 2 and mental illness expansion, and the greatly below poverty line and deadly low disability supports in Canada; like PWD in BC, AISH in Alberta or ODSP/OW in Ontario, plus the federal failures of the Canadian Disability Benefit and UNCRPD - a homemade, nationwide podcast @ThePwdcast which I researched, edited, recorded and published myself which includes amazing guests like a squatting grandmother in BC, a Star Trek actor talking mobility devices and MPP Sarah Jama on accessibility - all of whom share candid and raw stories - graphic designs, protest art, and parody media covers created to bring general awareness and positive change through eye-catching layouts accompanied with stats and facts that should motivate action from any reader - vlogs, town halls and panels that I have participated in from the CUPE seminar in Toronto to the premiere panel at Disposable: Life on ODSP and also my guest appearances on the Jann Arden, Handi-Link, and This Time In History podcasts E-TRANSFER: [email protected] GO FUNDME: gofund.me/750b15a9 WISH LIST: amazon.ca/hz/wishlist/ls/3E2… Please consider donating so I can pay bills, stay fed and keep fighting for the millions of Canadians who make up the 27% of voters with disabilities. Thank you!
I have compiled my years of #disability, homelessness and lived experience based advocacy into two sources. Firstly my Linktree contains all the interviews (TVO, CTV W5, CBC, Al Jazeera, The Walrus, Trillium etc), podcasts (@ThePwdcast), and news articles featuring me talking about federal legislated poverty, #MAiD coercion and the inadequate and socially murdering disability supports in our provinces and territories like #pwd in BC, #aish in Alberta or #odsp/ow here in Ontario. LINKTREE: linktr.ee/odspoor And my new advocacy design website contains all the advertisements, designs and AI images I've used in my battle for equity against ableism and failed government policies. DESIGNS FOR A CHANGE: twatburger.wixsite.com/odspo… Please consider donating so I can pay medical bills, stay fed and keep fighting for the millions of Canadians who make up the 27% of voters with disabilities. etransfer: [email protected] gofundme: gofund.me/750b15a9 Thank you!

Replying to @ODSPoor
It’s enlightening for others but most importantly it opens discussions. Opportunity to ask questions. Without dialogue change never happens. I feel it is our duty as PWD to not just complain but to educate.

If you are low or moderate income in B.C. you might eligible for a free energy kit or even upgrades. I would apply before Sunday🫣 bchydro.com/powersmart/resid…

"While the two candidates are separated by just a few percentage points in some highly contested areas, Chow holds substantial leads in other battleground wards" VOTE MONDAY blogto.com/city/2026/10/toro…
Don't believe everything you read. One of my contacts in the Chow campaign says - enthusiastically - that she is ahead and that will continue - AS LONG AS PEOPLE VOTE. So VOTE FOR GOD'S SAKE. We do not want four more years of austerity-focused leadership and flip-floppy, right-wing supported, ambition-focused, inexperienced management with strong mayor powers. #toronto

Canadian police can't even protect their own tipsters. Over 1 million tipsters' personal information has been leaked, forcing Crime Stoppers to shut down for the time being. Crime Stoppers failed to protect tipsters' identities, left personal information unredacted and improperly retained decades of sensitive records. It's a lapse of judgment so severe it's criminal, and it poses the question: Has Crime Stoppers been tipping off the police about potential criminals, or are the criminals being tipped off about potential police informants? cbc.ca/news/investigates/can…

Olivia Chow highlighting cost-of-living promises today. She's offering to cap TTC fares at 10 rides per week, tax cut for independent grocery stores, school meals and free programming at libraries. Also pointing to bad landlord task force for renters. #ToPoli

To the righteous folks on the left criticizing Olivia Chow online some of your criticisms are fair and accurate. HOWEVER, this is a two-person race. The train has left the station. There's a time to be on a soap box and a time to simply organize and get out the vote. #VoteChow

"Human Rights are not simply benefits granted by governments; they are claims that generate corresponding duties. Human Rights seek to protect equal human dignity against arbitrary political and social power." Yet when the @WSIB, society, and our courts @SCJOntario_en @ONCA_en @SCC_eng look at people with work related disabilities, we are NOT considered human. To them we are not afforded any basic human dignity or rights! We, the victims of workplace accidents, are guilty of nothing more than being a victim of a workplace accident! For we MUST prove our disabilities and prove our desperate need for accommodations for our disabilities. Even when we do, our disabilities and accommodations are often ignored, mocked, and blindly denied by the @WSIB, the WSIAT, our Courts, and society!

Voter suppression is about encouraging anyone who might vote for another candidate to stay home, so you need fewer votes for your own candidate to win. Publishing fake polls indicating a lead for BradBrad in the final days is classic voter suppression. Worked for Ford X3.

First-past-the-post forces Alberta’s right into one party for electoral advantage. Under proportional representation, Pro-Canada conservatives wouldn't be forced into the same party as separatists, giving Albertans genuine choice in who represents them. cbc.ca/news/canada/calgary/a…

Fuck...Oreo isn't eating again. It's been a day and a half. No wet food. She had a bit of the dry food, but I heard her throwing up. She's always so energetic and annoying...I feel horrible seeing her just lay here, lethargic. #cats

I’m sharing this gentleman’s video as it’s a little perspective into my life. Most people don’t know the amount of memorization we must rely on and physical cues like gravel, grass, objects etc. And how all those are lost when snow covers the ground. youtu.be/6C_TGPtjgXc?si=LtGS…

Disability advocate on #odsp, I got as far as I could this month, 8 days left. Please consider donating to groceries to reach the 31st. E-transfer [email protected] #donate #mutualaid
Municpal Elections week continues! Last night I attended the #Guelph Wellignton Social Justice Advocates meeting. Present were community members involved in The Bench food kitchen, IJV, OIPRG, Water Watchers and more! I was able to report back on attending Get Involved Guelph's 'Get Out The Vote' session. It was hosted by New Majority and was full of tips on how to help make a voting plan. We covered past events like the Town hall debate they hosted and got to hear what every group is up to for the next month. I have been asked to help with graphic design and social media presence as well! Today I have my quarterly #ODSP committee meeting where we meet with workers and program coordinators to give feedback, have guests and relay info back to our community. This session I will be asking why Ontario Works is covered for five therapy sessions and ODSP has none? We may also learn the pay date for December, and Ill share asap. Tonight is the Guelph 'Winter Food Plan'; a bunch of grassroots orgs like the Bench, the Seed, Friends of Downtown etc are meeting to see how we feed the most vulnerable this cold season. I am excited to bring my city councillor candidate Dakota Cherry who has a food security masters from U of Guelph! One week from today is part 2 of my TMU Disability Policy Symposium in Toronto. We are highlighting issues we can push for change based on a series of roundtables and lived experience. Hopefully this all goes well, municipal elections are like exam week for advocates. I'm happy to be so involved but I'll be happy to have a week off after today to rehumanize and calm down again. Thank you to everyone who supports me! #advocate
