🙏 Today, we join in prayer for clergy who faithfully serve our schools, parishes, and communities. May God continue to strengthen and guide them as they share His love, nurture faith, and inspire others to see His presence in the everyday. As the Book of Job reminds us, let us all "stop and consider the wondrous works of God." ✨ #PrayForClergy #OCSB #ocsbNewBeginnings #ocsbRE

🙏 Faith, courage and community came together at St. Peter High School as students and staff gathered on the football field for a school-wide outdoor Mass. Through prayer, reflection and music, students were encouraged to approach the year ahead with courage and faith, knowing that they don’t face new beginnings alone. From the student musicians to the tech team who helped bring the celebration together, it was a beautiful example of the St. Peter community living out this year’s Spiritual Theme, We Are Called to Nourish New Beginnings. ☀️ 🔗 Read more: ocsb.ca/2026/10/02/faith-cou… #OCSB #ocsbNewBeginnings #ocsbRE #CatholicEducation @ocsbRE

Today, we celebrate Clergy Appreciation Day and the dedicated clergy who support our students, staff and families across the #OCSB. One of those people is Fr. Geoff Kerslake, who values the many opportunities he has to connect with students through school liturgies, classroom visits and even recess walks around the school grounds. You might even spot him wearing a safety vest at recess, although he says he’s not quite ready to accept the walkie-talkie just yet! For Fr. Geoff, one of the most meaningful parts of his role is seeing the connection between parish, school and home come to life. He loves how open, curious and friendly students are and says it’s especially meaningful when one tells him, “See you on Sunday, Father Geoff!” Today, we celebrate Fr. Geoff and all the clergy in our OCSB communities. Thank you for the care, presence and support you provide to our students, staff and families! 🙏💚 #BeOCSB #ClergyAppreciationDay #ocsbNewBeginnings @ocsbRE
