ALT A short lived EF-1 tornado with peak wind speeds of 100 mph developed near the West Regional Library on Morrisville Parkway and traveled northeastward. A large tree was snapped in the parking lot of the library along with numerous other small tree limbs. Additional damage was noted in the neighborhood north of the library, with several 1-3 inch tree limbs snapped and scattered throughout the neighborhood. No structural damage was noted, suggesting the strongest winds remained just above ground affecting mainly treetops.

ALT Surface induced trough and ENE steering flow will promote more variable weather across windward sectors. PM showers and isolated t-storms to develop over mainly interior to SW PR today. Streamers can also develop and affect the E region. An approaching mid to upper level low will promote more unstable weather for the next few days.
