Happy to be back @Web3summit – once I was just an attendee in 2018, and this year I got to work on the general curation with a great crew.
‘Web3’ in its original sense was the tool for human freedom and artisan endeavour, and it’s needed more than ever for our society.
That’s why I still care after years.

History will repeat itself . Tech. Revolution starts from small group of developers.

In Taipei, we could physically feel how JAM is being built in a decentralised fashion. Two local JAM implementor teams @colorfulnotion @JAMneration, mostly young builders and students were new to the ecosystem but found out about JAM and started implementing. They had been a great support for the JAM Taipei.
The event saw many newcomers who had never explored @Polkadot before but were eager to explore JAM. We felt a great vibe at Taiwan's top tier tech school, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology. Afaik @gavofyork had never been to Taipei for an event before, but we were so glad we did. The room was packed with lots of young builders curious about JAM.
I could feel a similar vibe to the beginning of Ethereum Japan community back in 2018.

Throughout the #JAMtour, @gavofyork often indulges in coding as we head to university or back to the hotel.
Then #JAMtour arrived in Beijing. Gav's first visit to China since 2019.
Thanks to Peking University @PKU1898 student blockchain club, @LollipopHQ @Bifrost @OneBlock_ and mighty @polkaworld_org for providing local support.
Looking forward to seeing new faces for the rest of the tour in Shanghai, Hangzhou and Shenzhen over the next days.
