Nearly 30% of the total $BNC supply is now staked.
And over 52% of staked BNC is locked in bbBNC 🥞
With BNC buybacks and profit sharing, bbBNC currently offers around 17% APY.
Nearly 6,000 DOT flowed back to vDOT holders from self-run validators over the past month.
That additional validator incentive is pushing vDOT staking APY to 4.74%.
Every reward distribution is recorded onchain and visible on Bifrost Dapp.
Beyond holding $DOT, what other yield opportunities are you missing?
Native Staking: 2.81% APY
vDOT Liquid Staking: ~4.19% APY
And with $vDOT, your DOT can do even more:
- Lend & Borrow: Put vDOT to work on @hydration_net
- Farm: Earn additional yield through the DOT/vDOT pool
One asset. Multiple ways to earn.
If looping isn’t your style, the DOT/vDOT farm is the simpler route.
No borrowing. No liquidation risk.
Around 4.44% Farming APY on top of vDOT staking yield.
vDOT gives your DOT more ways to earn than holding ever could.
a few more details worth knowing 👇
1/ 60% of the revenue from @bifrost self-run validators flows back to vdot. every transfer is automated, transparent, and publicly verifiable.
2/ ~300 dot is added to vdot yields every day, compounding directly into nav.
3/ as @hydration_net continues to lower dot borrowing rates, borrowing dot now costs just 1.65% (at 51% utilization) and peaks at only 2.75% even at 85%.
vdot earns staking yield. borrowing against it costs 1.65%. that spread is the trade.
vDOT is currently earning 4.95% APY, compared with 2.82% from direct DOT staking.
Part of that difference comes from self-run validators. Bifrost shares 60% of validator rewards back with vDOT holders.
And 4.95% can be the starting point.
With Bifrost LoopStake, users can loop vDOT against borrowed DOT and increase total APY to around 8.77% at 4x leverage under current rates.
More staking yield.

Bifrost September Recap
- Runtime 26000 upgrade completed
- vDOT yield and redemption efficiency improved
- DOT transfers with Hydration went live

A referendum on @hydration_net to lower the aDOT borrow rate curve has passed.
At today’s ~40% utilization, DOT borrowing APY drops from 2.66% to 1.31%
That makes vDOT looping more capital efficient:
- Supply vDOT as collateral
- Borrow DOT
- Mint more vDOT on Bifrost
- Repeat to your target leverage
The opportunity comes from the spread between vDOT yield and DOT borrowing costs. With borrow APR now at 1.31%, more of that spread stays with the looper.
Even at 85% utilization, the new borrow rate is only 2.75%.
Lower borrowing costs, more efficient vDOT leverage.
Rates remain variable, and leverage introduces liquidation risk, so keep a healthy buffer.

Polkadot now pays validator incentives to validators themselves. Plain nominators never receive them.
vDOT is the first to pass this through: Bifrost's self-run validators share a portion of that incentive with vDOT holders.
Right now vDOT earns 0.46% more than native DOT staking, and we expect that gap to reach around 1%.
You can see it on the vDOT page in the Bifrost app. Open the yield breakdown to find every shared reward with each record verifiable onchain.
Native DOT staking requires more attention to validator selection, as validators can fall out of the active set.
With vDOT, Bifrost handles validator selection and optimization automatically, keeping your DOT delegated across active, high quality validators.
Validator optimization will also push vDOT APY higher, targeting 1% above native staking.
Coming soon.
vDOT is built for more efficient staking liquidity.
120,000 vDOT, representing nearly 200,000 DOT, redeemed in ~31 hours.
That’s around 34% less waiting time compared with Polkadot’s 2-day native unbonding period.
With Fast Redeem, new vDOT mints can be matched with redemption requests, making exits faster and staking more flexible.
dotUSD is now up for a vote!
With vDOT, you can keep earning staking rewards while retaining your voting power.
Two ways to participate in Polkadot OpenGov:
- Vote directly with vDOT
- Delegate your voting power to someone you trust
A referendum proposing dotUSD, a protocol-native stablecoin for Polkadot, is now live on DOT DAO governance.
The proposal was drafted by community members across the Polkadot ecosystem and submitted to OpenGov via the Polkadot Community Foundation. PCF's role is limited to putting it forward for a community vote. PCF will not not deploy, operate, control or custody dotUSD.
The proposal outlines a phased approach: an initial stables-backed phase, followed by a DOT-collateralized vault phase subject to further development and governance.
The dotUSD implementation is now up for vote with the DOT DAO.

Following the first recovery airdrop, vETH minting and redemptions are officially live again through Omni.ls
Previously queued redemptions can also be claimed.
vETH is back.
Users can now mint and redeem vETH through omni.ls
Previously queued redemptions are now visible in the claim list and can be claimed as usual.
Another step forward in the Hyperbridge recovery process.
The first batch is complete, with 172.1009 vETH and 52,584.1143 MANTA airdropped to registered Ethereum addresses.
Users not included can still register via the Bifrost dApp for upcoming batches.
Next up: restoring redemption services. More updates soon.
Hyperbridge Asset Recovery Registration is Now Open
Users holding vETH or MANTA on Bifrost affected by the Hyperbridge incident can now register their Ethereum receiving address directly through the Bifrost dApp.
Once registered, asset recovery and reissuance to Ethereum will be processed through onchain governance. The final distribution timing will depend on the governance process.

vDOT is starting to outperform native DOT staking.
Average native DOT staking APY is currently around 2.85%.
vDOT APY has reached 3.34%, roughly 0.5 percentage points higher, following recent optimizations to validators.
And there’s more to come.
Next week, we plan to allocate more validator rewards to vDOT holders, further boosting vDOT APY.
Better DOT staking with vDOT.
DOT transfers between Bifrost and @hydration_net are now available.
Before confirming, users can now view balances, fees, and estimated arrival amounts, with improved fee handling for a safer transfer experience.
We’ve also streamlined several sunset assets and networks across the Bifrost Dapp.

the @krakenfx is deciding to delist all tokens issued based on substrate, regardless of liquidity conditions or trading volume.
the unilateral decision to delist tokens in an effort to reduce node maintenance costs is completely contrary to delisting rules, and we are currently in communication with them.
The @krakenfx decision to delist HDX appears to be based on an incorrect assessment
HDX does not meet Kraken’s own stated delisting criteria. Hydration is alive, growing, and liquidity has improved significantly
IGL is actively engaging with Kraken to appeal the decision
