this!!! love isn’t someone falling in love with the idea of you and then punishing you for being a real human being. you’re allowed to be complex, to have flaws, to change your mind and to be your own person. if someone can only love you when you fit the version of you they created in their head, they don’t actually know how to love you. they love what they projected, not the person.
