Beautiful moment siblings surprised their big brother, who stepped up as both their father and mother after their parents passed away, sponsored their education, helped them relocate abroad, and even sponsored their weddings. ❤️

Debunking the Phantom Debts and Ecological Loan Fallacy My attention has been drawn to trending claims by the Anambra State Government that my administration left behind inherited debts, including a ₦2 billion ecological loan, contractor liabilities, and unpaid salaries, gratuities, and pensions. This is completely false. We systematically liquidated historical gratuities and arrears dating back several years, amounting to over ₦35 billion. At the point of handover, the state owed nothing in salaries, gratuities, or pensions, nor did we owe anything to any contractor for projects duly executed and certified. The ₦2 billion ecological fund in question was released barely three months before the end of my tenure for the Oko/Umuchiana erosion crisis. Despite pressure to spend the money, I refused, insisting that it should be left for my successor because government is a continuum and the funds were tied to a specific project. The money was therefore left 100 per cent intact in First Bank, in Account No. 2018779464, with a balance of over ₦2.13 billion. It is important to stress that funds tied to specific projects or set aside for particular purposes were not even included in the over ₦75 billion in savings we left behind. If anybody can establish anything to the contrary, I will stop campaigning. -PO

No Objection to Legitimate Scrutiny of My Certificates My attention has been drawn to reports circulating on social media concerning a legal action by an individual or group seeking Certified True Copies (CTCs) of my Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy, awarded to me in 1984 by the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), as well as other academic records and credentials relating to my admission into the University. I wish to state clearly that I have absolutely no objection to the release of these records. I respectfully request that the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, within the limits permitted by law, make available, upon legitimate request, my academic certificates, records, and other official documents relating to my admission and studies at the University. I equally have no objection to other educational institutions, within and outside Nigeria, which I attended, making my academic records available in accordance with applicable laws and procedures. I believe strongly in transparency and accountability, particularly for those who seek the privilege of public office. Public scrutiny must, however, be fair, lawful, and applied consistently to everyone who seeks to lead our nation. As a presidential candidate seeking the trust of Nigerians to lead our country, I welcome legitimate public interest in my background, qualifications, and record. I am prepared to subject myself to the level of scrutiny that should reasonably be expected of anyone seeking the highest office in our country. Those who seek to lead must be willing to demonstrate, through both their words and actions, that they have nothing to conceal from the people they aspire to serve. In that same spirit, I encourage every presidential candidate to make their educational qualifications and relevant records available for legitimate public scrutiny. Doing so should not be regarded as an inconvenience or an attack. Rather, it is an opportunity to strengthen public confidence, promote accountability, and rebuild the trust of Nigerians in those who seek to govern them. Leadership must reflect the values we expect from the society we hope to build. If we desire a Nigeria founded on transparency, integrity, accountability, and respect for institutions, those values must begin with those who seek to lead it. I therefore welcome the scrutiny of my academic background and remain committed to the principle that those who ask Nigerians for their trust must also be willing to earn that trust through openness and accountability. A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO

I’m ashamed to tell the story of how he demoted my uncle from Principal to Primary 3 school teacher for eating students’ WAEC money. He came to the family compound to ask him if he’s mad.😩🤭. It didn’t stop there, he was dismissed on voluntary retirement and all the money he
I schooled in Onitsha High School, Onitsha. One morning, the principal Mrs Julie Ofoefuna informed us that Mr Peter Obi was coming to our school because the Senior Prefect called him and reported that the school building was at the verge of collapse which was true. We thought it was a joke because my school was one of the local schools then, we said” the governor has not finished visiting CKC, DMGS, St Charles, QRC”etc these are best schools then. By 12:00pm that day, he landed with Dr Kay Onyechi the state commissioner of basic education, he inspected the school. He said he will return after two weeks. Two weeks passed we didn’t see him, we took his words as normal Nigeria politicians 😭😭😂.On the third week which was school closing period, he landed. He came like a thief, no motorcades or sirens blowing ” he apologized for coming after two weeks, he said when he learnt that the school was in exam period, he decided to wait but to come after exam. In the end, he gave more than enough for the school renovation. He asked us what we wanted for lunch, nobody could mention any reasonable food. He gave each student ₦100 for snacks.

Dear Bayo, hello… it’s me again. I’ve been wondering if after all these months you’d like to catch up …to go over everything. They say that time’s supposed to heal, but I haven’t done much healing watching this administration. Hello from the other side of the economic divide. I must have called out a thousand times : about fuel prices, about inflation, about the naira …to tell you something’s not working. Hello from the outside. At least I can say that I’ve tried to make you understand that attacking Peter Obi won’t fix: 1.The cost of living crisis 2.The collapsing naira 3.The insecurity across the nation 4.The millions of Nigerians who can’t afford basic necessities Bayo, you say Peter Obi made U-turns. Humans do that. He is human and political alignments are par for the course. But you know what doesn’t make U-turns or compromises? Hunger. Poverty. Suffering. These things only move in one direction for ordinary Nigerians and it’s not backwards. Here’s the difference between us: I’m dreaming about a New Nigeria. You’re committed to defending the old failed status quo. Hello? Can you hear me? Or are you too busy writing press releases about Peter Obi while the country burns? There’s such a difference between us… and a million miles. Your principal and your party have failed in the primary assignment. We need a New Nigeria and it won’t be created by you and your cohort. Hello, can you hear me?
Peter Obi has set a new record for political desperation. In his pursuit of the presidency, he has shown himself to be unprincipled—a politician willing to go back on his words, abandon his political platform if it is no longer a significant factor in his political calculus or permutations, and even "eat his own vomit". In his politics of desperation, he is willing to associate with anyone, including those he had previously pilloried. He can make U-turns on any matter—even on his political ideology, if he has one. He certainly lacks the character of a reliable political leader. No one can be sure where he stands on any issue. He shifts with the wind and the trends on X. As this video clip shows, Obi has now thrown his supporters under the bus, further underscoring his series of contradictions and confusion.

Oh, this is such a beautiful question and absolutely not. You are not a failure at all! Faith always precedes understanding. Meaning that you can and should engage your God given intellect and will, and choose to believe Christ is really there before you ever know it to be certain in your heart. Our Lord is so faithful to blind faith. It’s so utterly beautiful to Him. It’s about time and silent presence. Just like when Our Lord asked His disciples to wait with Him in the Garden of Gethsemane before He was taken off to be hung on the cross, Our Lords heart is so tenderly pleased and moved by your presence… especially when you are doing it despite not being able to “see” Him yet. Just to be clear, I don’t see him either, I feel His presence but that’s been a growing devotion that’s unfolded over several years and many hours spent with Him. Please, go sit with Him. It’s not about what you feel, what you understand, what you do in His presence. You can read, write, sit quietly and do nothing, pray, whatever…. It’s about presence. Most days I go in there and say nothing. I think nothing, I do nothing. I’m just with Him. That’s what it’s about. I followed you back. I’m moved by your sincerity. You aren’t failing at all. The only failure would be to not go at all ❤️ so go…. He’s waiting for you ❤️🙏🏻

Currently facing this shit
I get an app idea. I start building it because I find it useful. I see other alternatives on the internet. I get demotivated and stop working on it. Never release it. Repeat with other app ideas. How can I overcome this crap?

Yesterday, I and my very dear brother, Sen. Datti Baba-Ahmed were in Kaduna to personally pay our condolences to a dear elder brother and Former Governor of Kaduna State, Ahmed Makarfi, and his family, on the death of their son, Faisal Makarfi. We prayed to God to console the family over such a sad occurrence and grant them, and all of us, the fortitude to bear the sad and irreplaceable loss. May Almighty Allah, who called Faisal home at this time, forgive his sins and grant him Aljanna Firdausi. May God continue to protect and bless the Makarfi family, always. From there, we visited one of the almajiri schools in the State, which I had been supporting, to see the progress they have so far made. Earlier in the year, when I first visited the school, I found out that they had very dilapidated infrastructure, no functional toilet system, and no source of water supply, which were very important to them. I then made a financial donation towards providing these critical facilities for the children. Arriving there today, I was happy to see that by my earlier support, their infrastructure has greatly improved, they now have a very decent toilet system with 2 functional boreholes. Being impressed with this achievement, I donated another N5 million to the school and assured them of my support in ensuring that the children continue to enjoy a better education, which is their currency for future opportunities in life. We remain committed to building a Nigeria that gives our children the right training and empowerment to access brighter opportunities in life. A New Nigeria remains POssible! -PO
