I watched this video of PM Modi ask in his trademark patronising-cringe style "how can our daughters speak such language?" Sir, they are not 'your' daughters. People are not your 'children'. You are not the father of this nation. Your job is governance and you are failing.
"Abuses never solve anything. Let’s guide the misguided. Let’s work together. Let’s work for Bharat": PM Modi

Notice how the entire conversation changed from "E20 will save you lots of money" from "pure petrol will cost you more." We have been pickpocketed, my friends.
"Let's Settle this, If you don't want E-20, You have to pay more for premium petrol." — Nitin Gadkari, Transport Minister

There is no regular pure petrol in India AFAIK. XP100 is high octane, and unnecessary for most vehicles. So your choice is either E20 or a ridiculously expensive XP100. This is like suggesting eating in Taj because your local pani puri wala started pissing in the water.

Passenger next to my seat spent the whole 8 hour train journey eating and throwing all the leftovers under the seat. Dustbin was right outside. Later, when everyone was trying to sleep, he started playing videos loudly. Wanted to teach him a lesson in civic sense, but I stopped myself because getting home safely is more important than teaching a random stranger morality. I have a family, goals, and plans for the future. You need to be practical. You can't change the whole country. If you confront these people, they won't learn or acknowledge their mistake. Instead, they'll start a fight and can turn violent. Mumbai local train incident is one example. Man asked someone to close the door because of the rain and ended up losing his life to a person carrying a knife. Reality is, civic sense can only be taught where people are willing to listen, in a moral society. Smartest choice is to stay invisible, earn more and build a life where you move up the economic ladder so you and your family can have safer spaces to avoid such people.

as someone who has been remote work engineer in private and public sector, large companies and startups for well over a decade, this is all false what is happening is companies are having to become more competitive about employee compensation because they can no longer give u a shitty pizza party instead of a bonus, they are struggling to continue the “we’re a family here!” Propaganda that permeated pre-2010 work environments workers having more free time as a result of 0 commute are able to seek more opportunities than before, outside of the closed loop ecosystems of in-office interactions and more time to build real relationships outside of work that aren’t anchored to the workplace that would normalize vaporize the second one of you leave the organization you don’t go to work to make friends, this is a child’s view of work, people being kind to you and finding mutual interests and occasionally hanging out is more to do with having shared the same work environment, but beyond this you can never get very close with a coworker unless you want to be at risk of your coworkers collecting kompromat in the event you have a falling out this just goes to show that the NYT and anyone agreeing with this article are out of touch and either have zero industry experience or are being paid to push this propaganda slop
The NYT is finally catching up... If you're early in your career or still building, remote work is brutal: - You miss real training, feedback, and institutional knowledge - Productivity drops ~20% (MIT study) - No mentors. No company culture. - No bonding. No happy hours. - Fewer real work friends - Divorce rates and mental health issues spike - Fewer spontaneous opportunities (client meetings, drinks with the boss, hallway ideas) - Lower promotions and job security long-term

India is literally a scam, Cricket is literally a business now! Imagine not even being allowed to carry your own water bottle into a stadium, only to be forced to buy water for ₹150 a bottle and ₹20 a glass inside. No proper management, VIP movement causing chaos, parking issues everywhere, and even basic drinking water becomes a business opportunity. People often ask why I never go to stadiums to watch matches. This is exactly why. Despite being a sports fan, I’ve never watched a match live in a stadium. The experience just isn’t worth the hassle. I only hope atleast sports and automobiles are spared from becoming completely scam-driven industries in India! 🤦🏻‍♂️ @BCCI @IPL

To keep my protein intake costs in check, I have decided to blend 30% of ‘Fena’ powder in my Whey. Chapra University studies have shown that it is edible. Fena provides quick energy and good for digestion. Once this works, I will replace my Whey with Fena itself. Will tell my gym mates, “Fena hi Lena” #sarcasm

Trees older than 80 years, should be treated as living organisms that deserve legal protections comparable to animals We penalizes cruelty toward animals, we should extend similar accountability to the destruction of these trees.
They’re cutting down 250 year old banyan trees in Nashik for the upcoming Kumbh Mela. I want development in my city, but it honestly hurts to see trees that have stood for generations being cut down. There are many ways to deal with such issues, but this just feels wrong💔

His name is Rinku Singh Rahi. In 2009 he was a PCS officer in Muzaffarnagar. He exposed a Rs 100 crore scholarship and pension scam. Three days later someone shot him seven times. Two bullets hit his face. His jaw shattered. He lost an eye. Lost hearing in one ear. He spent 4 months in hospital. When he came out the government transferred him. He did not quit. At age 40 with one eye and a broken jaw he appeared for the UPSC exam under the disability quota. He got AIR 683. He became an IAS officer. In July 2025 on his first field posting as SDM in Shahjahanpur he saw a clerk urinating in the office premises. He made the clerk do squats as punishment. The lawyers protested saying it was wrong. Rinku Singh Rahi said there is no shame in accountability and did five squats himself in public. Within 36 hours he was transferred. For 8 months he sat at the Revenue Board with no work. Full salary. Zero responsibilities. On March 31 2026 he resigned. His resignation letter said there is a special punishment reserved for honest people in India. They get paid but no work is given to them. He said even receiving a salary without working is a form of corruption. He could not do it. He walked away.

it’s crazy that 95% of people just want a nice normal life on our beautiful, already abundant planet where they can have their basic needs met and cute experiences with their loved ones and then we have these 5% of evil, narcissistic goons at the top fucking it up for all of us

Another Supreme Court masterstroke on NCERT controversy: It has come to our attention that after the order dated 26.02.2026 was passed, certain elements on social media acted irresponsibly while referring to the contents of the said order. We accordingly direct the Government of India to identify such sites/accounts as well as the persons running those sites/accounts and to furnished their full details to enable us to take suitable action. The law must take it so own course
