I watched this video of PM Modi ask in his trademark patronising-cringe style
"how can our daughters speak such language?"
Sir, they are not 'your' daughters.
People are not your 'children'.
You are not the father of this nation.
Your job is governance and you are failing.
I'd also love to audit my own Tax records and declare that there is no tax pending

In short: HPCL investigated HPCL fuel and concluded there was no issue with HPCL fuel.

Notice how the entire conversation changed from "E20 will save you lots of money" from "pure petrol will cost you more."
We have been pickpocketed, my friends.

There is no regular pure petrol in India AFAIK. XP100 is high octane, and unnecessary for most vehicles. So your choice is either E20 or a ridiculously expensive XP100. This is like suggesting eating in Taj because your local pani puri wala started pissing in the water.
🚨"Pay more for pure petrol if you don't want Ethanol blended fuel."
⛽Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari backs the ethanol-blending policy, says pure petrol will remain available at a higher price.

Passenger next to my seat spent the whole 8 hour train journey eating and throwing all the leftovers under the seat. Dustbin was right outside. Later, when everyone was trying to sleep, he started playing videos loudly.
Wanted to teach him a lesson in civic sense, but I stopped myself because getting home safely is more important than teaching a random stranger morality. I have a family, goals, and plans for the future. You need to be practical. You can't change the whole country. If you confront these people, they won't learn or acknowledge their mistake. Instead, they'll start a fight and can turn violent.
Mumbai local train incident is one example. Man asked someone to close the door because of the rain and ended up losing his life to a person carrying a knife.
Reality is, civic sense can only be taught where people are willing to listen, in a moral society. Smartest choice is to stay invisible, earn more and build a life where you move up the economic ladder so you and your family can have safer spaces to avoid such people.
I don't understand why police and criminal do this acting? You can clearly see the fake expression

as someone who has been remote work engineer in private and public sector, large companies and startups for well over a decade, this is all false
what is happening is companies are having to become more competitive about employee compensation because they can no longer give u a shitty pizza party instead of a bonus, they are struggling to continue the “we’re a family here!” Propaganda that permeated pre-2010 work environments
workers having more free time as a result of 0 commute are able to seek more opportunities than before, outside of the closed loop ecosystems of in-office interactions and more time to build real relationships outside of work that aren’t anchored to the workplace that would normalize vaporize the second one of you leave the organization
you don’t go to work to make friends, this is a child’s view of work, people being kind to you and finding mutual interests and occasionally hanging out is more to do with having shared the same work environment, but beyond this you can never get very close with a coworker unless you want to be at risk of your coworkers collecting kompromat in the event you have a falling out
this just goes to show that the NYT and anyone agreeing with this article are out of touch and either have zero industry experience or are being paid to push this propaganda slop
The NYT is finally catching up...
If you're early in your career or still building, remote work is brutal:
- You miss real training, feedback, and institutional knowledge
- Productivity drops ~20% (MIT study)
- No mentors. No company culture.
- No bonding. No happy hours.
- Fewer real work friends
- Divorce rates and mental health issues spike
- Fewer spontaneous opportunities (client meetings, drinks with the boss, hallway ideas)
- Lower promotions and job security long-term
Amazon casually telling me I'm their top 2% customer yet some day I have a problem with a product, I can't reach customer support because they've completely removed the option from their apps and websites
Been using @GetOneCardIN for 6yrs now. But after recent app upgrade, you simply cannot raise a query or ticket. The automated answering from chatbot would let you ask or create a query on anything that's not in its list
Even in 25 lakh car, Indians will still open Google maps in their phone and keep their phones in some weird stand or holder and fiddle with it or stare at it while driving
When random investors and entrepreneurs say they are "bullish" on India - what they mean is that they are bullish on making money out of India's cheap labour, gullible consumers and the sheer lack of law and justice

India is literally a scam, Cricket is literally a business now! Imagine not even being allowed to carry your own water bottle into a stadium, only to be forced to buy water for ₹150 a bottle and ₹20 a glass inside.
No proper management, VIP movement causing chaos, parking issues everywhere, and even basic drinking water becomes a business opportunity.
People often ask why I never go to stadiums to watch matches. This is exactly why. Despite being a sports fan, I’ve never watched a match live in a stadium. The experience just isn’t worth the hassle.
I only hope atleast sports and automobiles are spared from becoming completely scam-driven industries in India! 🤦🏻♂️

To keep my protein intake costs in check, I have decided to blend 30% of ‘Fena’ powder in my Whey.
Chapra University studies have shown that it is edible. Fena provides quick energy and good for digestion. Once this works, I will replace my Whey with Fena itself.
Will tell my gym mates, “Fena hi Lena” #sarcasm

India is one of the only countries, apart from obviously very poor nations, where criminals roaming everywhere has become completely normal. Criminals keep killing children & remain a threat to society, yet judiciary neither control them properly nor punish & prison them at scale
Saw a video of a stray dog inside an airport lounge in Hyderabad eating leftovers.
Probably India is one of the only countries, apart from obviously very poor nations, where stray animals roaming everywhere has become completely normal. Dogs keep biting children and remain a threat to society, yet municipalities neither control them properly nor sterilize and vaccinate them at scale.
As a result, now even airport lounges are not spared. People need premium credit cards for entry, but stray dogs walk in for free.
India is in an everyday race to become the most fourth-world place for citizens.
