Appreciate the acknowledgment, but to clarify, we do not view link as a grift. We are a regulated financial institution, and just provide fair and balanced coverage. That means acknowledging potential risks. This is a similar risk shared by many cryptocurrencies because fundamentally they are not equities and not entitled to protocol cash flows. That said, increased adoption of chainlink would potentially result in more demand for link. For now, demand likely grows in-line with broader crypto activity (Defi/ lending / etc) but as more finance moved on chain, it’s TAM could expand massively

🇰🇷 Korea is quietly becoming one of Chainlink's strongest institutional markets. Today's LG CNS news is the latest piece.
LG CNS, the tech arm of LG Group, just announced a strategic partnership with Chainlink. LG CNS is the lead contractor for the Bank of Korea's flagship digital currency project, Project Hangang.
The partnership covers the full Chainlink platform, cross-chain, data, and orchestration, for Korean institutions.
It's not the first signal from Korean institutions.
In June, Chainlink and 50+ banks launched Project Pangea for T+0 FX settlement. Korea's UniKA alliance is part of it, with Shinhan Bank, JB Bank, and Kbank on its committee.

Onchain, a Korean won test token, KBKRW (plus a wrapped wKBKRW), has been moving regularly across CCIP testnets since late September, on Ethereum Sepolia, Avalanche Fuji, and Solana Devnet.
Korea is Asia's second-largest digital asset market, and the won is the second most traded currency in crypto after the US dollar.
