At risk of giving up my secrets… The early flights are more reliable. Less weather, yesterday’s delays get wiped out overnight & airport traffic volume is still low. From a non-rev perspective, a few people will always oversleep, opening up a seat for you. Even if not, you now get to try & try again, rather than just aiming for one flight later & totally missing out. Otherwise, everything this guy says is pretty much spot-on.
