Best argument for using Vercel, coming straight from DHH
I鈥檒l use these words from @dhh as a reminder whenever someone says SQLite doesn鈥檛 scale:

ChatGPT advanced voice mode first impression: - this thing is the perfect language teacher - it can speak my obscure native language (Swiss German) almost accent free - responses are fast, but not instantaneous - it interrupts me when trying to finish a thought - strange "my programming does not allow me to speak about that" errors when having conversations about normal subjects

Got the new ChatGPT Voice Mode. What should I do with it?

The opposite for me. Fully featured component library for easy prototyping. Customization doesn't matter. Shadcn for mature products. You own all the code and will want to customize things heavily. Especially if you work with a designer.
Unpopular opinion: @v0/@shadcn UI or any TailwindCSS-based component library is great only for prototyping purposes. Once you have a validated product, switching to a full-featured component library creates much better & more consistent UI/UX that is easier to maintain & scale.

That鈥榮 Astro
If React had no state, effects, or event handling and was purely static, it would still be my favorite templating language of all time.

Can't wait for the 15" M4 MacBook Air. 13" just isn't enough if you do all your work on a laptop.

Vercel is still the best way to start. $20/m to never think about Servers is an amazing deal. You can always migrate away once the prices explode with traffic.

If you're in high-value B2B the $20/m Vercel plan can easily take you to 10k MRR without paying anything extra

Didn't see that one coming
Here's my conversation with Pieter Levels (@levelsio), self-taught developer and entrepreneur who designed, programmed, shipped, and ran over 40 startups, many of which are hugely successful. In most cases, he did it all by himself, while living the digital nomad life in over 40 countries and over 150 cities. This was a fun and inspiring conversation! It's here on X in full, and is up on YouTube, Spotify, and everywhere else. Links in comment. Mercury Bank just launched Invoicing The best part? No fees for one-time invoices. From now on I'll bill anything that's not self-service directly through Mercury. No point in paying the Stripe fees.

You've just gotten a tool that makes you 5x as productive and you think you're cooked? AI is the best thing that has happened to me since I started programing.
Frontend developers are officially cooked
