As if we didn’t love the @AgMuseum enough! Today we discovered yet another part of the farm we hadn’t yet explored - where they offered a family 🎥 and cereal 🥣 event, baking 🍪 , and crafting 🐦 ! This place is truly the best.

I just love hearing from teachers about blood donation!!! Teachers are seriously incredible people. Taking the @CanadasLifeline shuttle bus is super fun and efficient, not to mention free! If you’re wondering how your workplace can do something special — like save a life — you could do a group blood donation like @StDanielOCSB did. They get a fun trip and someone in a local hospital gets one more day with their family. Thank you @nmfarrugia for making it look so easy! #StartWithHillary & I love that bus!!!!!!!! It transports heroes.
Today we welcomed a @VeteransENG_CA speaker to tell us more about Remembrance Day & how we can show gratitude to veterans & current Canadian Forces Members. The best part- she’s my next door neighbour and it was unbeknownst to both of us that she was coming to @StDanielOCSB today
Today was our first visit to the Learning Commons to select books. Students received a ziploc bag for book protection and transportation. Book exchange will happen every two weeks. I love these two selections. @StDanielOCSB

Yesterday we did some role play at Mrs. Farrugia’s Bank with writing cheques to represent whole four/five digit numbers. These two students decided to spend their money on my favourite things. Lego and philanthropy. 🥰 #ocsbMath @StDanielOCSB

We ask #CatholicTeachers & #OntEd to wear orange, as we acknowledge the trauma caused by Canada's residential school system, & honour Indigenous Survivors, families, & the children who did not return home.
We had another great time @chaptersindigo for their Weekend Storytime event. Last weekend we went for their T is for Terry read aloud and yesterday was a @PeteTheCat reading and @Magnatiles build!
We even met an author @chaptersindigo doing a signing and telling people about his wonderful book Do trees have Mothers? @ocsbEco
