I’m happy the borders are almost reopening but it really sucks for those of us who cannot work from home. A long weekend to Brisbane to see my family, who I haven’t seen in 2 years, will cost me an extra 7 days leave in home isolation. Would have liked 3 days or none at all!

As an Aucklander, do you know what is really hard? Seeing people with platforms pushing the narrative that everything's failing and there's no hope, and the implicit message that we need to be OK with larger numbers of people dying. That makes this all really fucking hard.
