Hi Santa! I still don't tweet much - sorry! I almost didn't participate because I feel a bit bad that you got me! But SECRET SANTA!!! Resistance is futile. So, here we are. 🙋♀️ #MidWinterSecretSanta
Hey Santa! So, if you've been given me and had a look at my timeline, you'll see that I'm one of *those* people. I don't really tweet much, except around Secret Santa time. Tbh, I'm pretty boring so don't normally have much interesting to share. #SecretSantaNZ2020
I stay at my mum's quite often (so nor strictly just Christmas accommodation), and my room's fine, but the window did fall out a couple of months ago... #duvetknowitschristmas
Not sure if anyone will see this as I don't post much, but here's a show for Aucklanders to check out 😀

This annual video has to be one of the best things on Twitter every year 🐕🐶🎁 Audio description: about 15 dogs go into a room (separately) with a long u-shaped line of toys on the floor and joyfully bound around selecting just the right one for them!
#SantaPawsDay is here! The day all the dogs get to choose their very own toy for Christmas! 🎅🐾
Thank you so much to everyone who helped Santa Paws out by sending in a toy 💛 A very Merry Christmas to everyone watching, from all of the humans and dogs of Dogs Trust Ireland 🎄🎅
Charlene is in a writing group I'm part of and I know that this is going to be great! I'd definitely recommend checking it out 😃

Hi @silverpebble! I registered to do a jewellery workshop with you, which I think might be coming up quite soon, but I stupidly didn't write down the dates! Could you please let me know when it is? (Sorry about the public tweet - I wasn't able to DM 🙂 )
If you've been following what's happening in Ukraine and it all feels too much and overwhelming as to how to help, here's a way to help one lady restart her business after having to flee the country. Page creator is a good friend so I can vouch for her🙂givealittle.co.nz/cause/let-…
This whole thread is a delight, but I think Lola nails it - how can you not be happy while smiling at ducks? 🦆🦆🦆

Lola - "Smile at ducks"
As far as I'm aware, there has been no scientific evidence that proves smiling at ducks doesn't create dopamine in the brain. It would be wise to follow Lola's instructions. Who knows perhaps they smile back. Lola enjoys ducks and life. Take her advice.
Kia ora @whaeavee. Sorry to bother you, but I was wondering if you might be able to give some advice? I've got some dyed harakeke that I brought home from a wānanga and didn't use. Unfortunately, it's gone a bit mouldy 😔 so I don't think it's usable. What's the proper way to...

When you're wandering around and have barely seen 10 people, come into a quiet residential street and see @JohnJCampbell, it can be a bit of a surprise so apologies for my partner's slightly manic laughter, John, but I hope you're having a wonderful day in this gorgeous sunshine!

Vivaldi wrote a lot for the girls in the school where he taught, is this historically informed performance? In any case, if this doesn’t bring a smile to your face I’m not sure you’re alive.
Nothing like a bit of Vivaldi played by The Goede Hoop Marimba Band to bring joy to any day #WednesdayMotivation

So sick of living in an economy. Can’t wait to go back to living in a society.
I'm just reading a WHO report, and apparently we have 8.66 psychiatrists and 9.62 psychologists per 100,000 people. 116.61 MH workers in total per 100k (incl. nurses, social workers, occ. therapists etc.) in NZ. I knew the situation was bad, but those numbers seem really bleak.
Oh wow - I just had a quick look at the Australia figures. They have 13.37 psychiatrist/100k, so a bit better, but 104.4 psychologists/100k! And more psychologists than nurses per 100k, which seems a bit weird. But what a difference!
