This is a super interesting thread.
The crunch spread has tightened from extremely wide levels (free money to load open source models on GPUs and sell tokens) to much tighter levels. While many describe this graph as proof of Jevon’s paradox (not an unreasonable interpretation) a tightening crunch spread is probably a better description.

Community note was completely wrong stating no record exists, but I'm glad MS can clear it up...maybe they should include a note explaining the cut in their research next time.
Morgan Stanley has revised AMD's GPU demand forecast for 2026-2030 from 14.1 million units to 8.0 million units, or -43.3%, while keeping Nvidia's the same.
$AMD $NVDA

There is no record of Morgan Stanley issuing this report on Oct 14, 2026, and no major financial media has reported these figures. The attached chart is not in Morgan Stanley's official format and contains a basic math error (14.1M minus 8.0M is a 6.1M decrease, not 5.9M).

Stealth model reveal 🐰
Space Bunny was OpenRouter’s #1 model for 10 straight days, processing 56.7T tokens! The most of any stealth model we’ve run.
Space Bunny hopped off OpenRouter on Oct 5. It's back today as @MiniMax_AI's M3.1 Flash, and it's free for the next 72 hours.
It always makes me a bit nervous when futures on a Sunday night grind higher so steadily. T-minus Asia open.
I am so sick of the spam on this website. The join my private trading groups Schtick is so dumb. Some morons must fall for it or why would they do it.

I hate this so much. Not to dismiss gentrification and rising rates in certain areas, but it's like that quote "Libertarians are like house cats. Completely dependent on a system they neither understand nor appreciate and fiercely confident of their own independence."
“I’m old. I’ve paid my home off,” said Ray Warner, a 72-year-old Akron resident. “Why would I pay property tax?”
Across the country, homeowners are asking the same question and revolting against property taxes at a scale not seen in a half century.
