Could we get that in England, Scotland, and Wales too? Sounds pretty sweet to me.
'Northern Ireland is in the unbelievably special position - unique position in the entire world - in having privileged access not just to the UK market… but also the EU single market' 'Nobody else has that. No one. Only you guys, only here’ Rishi Sunak hails his Brexit deal

“Without a case like this, these husbands would think they have power to do anything.” For too long, this #immigration loophole was used to cover #DomesticAbuse. Well done @NathGbikpi of @IslingtonLawCen on defeating this injustice so many women face! lght.ly/fh6idch

Private #renting is broken: too scarce, too expensive, too unsafe. The PM just confirmed that the government WILL end section 21 'no-fault' #eviction as promised. This is a good step, but not enough on its own. Bring on the #RentersReformBill! #PRS #housing
We're outside Parliament today with @RentersReformCo @shelter @johnmcdonnellMP & others. Today's confirmation from @trussliz to end s21 evictions is positive but the question is still when and how. #RentersAreWaiting #LCToday

If we don't speak out boldly about the hardship we witness, we are letting down our clients, our director @juliebisho tells the @AdviceSAlliance conference #ASAconf22
#ASAConf22 Julie Bishop @LawCentres rallying call - close your emails. Reflect. What did we learn from Covid? We can make change quickly. We have seen funders respond quickly. We have seen government respond quickly. We need to stop self-censoring. We need to be more outspoken.

Now the Queen's funeral has forced food banks to shut. This isn't about dunking on the amazing people who run them - in at least one case, they simply can't get a food delivery. It's about what happens if you shut down the country with a week's notice. opendemocracy.net/en/queens-…

We have seen some social media reports of children being refused food at school because there is no money on their lunch account. This should not be happening. A Children Act assessment should be undertaken to establish the need of the child. Food is a basic need.
