PEI RCMP: Possible Historic Explosive Munition Located in Farmer’s Field in North Bedeque "East Prince RCMP responded to a report of a possible historic explosive munition that was discovered in a farmer’s field during potato harvesting operations yesterday. On October 27, at approximately 10:00 a.m., East Prince RCMP responded to a call in North Bedeque for an object believed to be an explosive device that was unearthed and collected in potato harvesting equipment. The item was collected from a field near Slemon Park. Officers attended the scene, secured the area, and contacted the Department of National Defence for assessment and disposal of the item. In the late afternoon, the item was retrieved by trained personnel from the Department of National Defence and taken for disposal." Any time you come across an object that appears to be an explosive device, do not touch or move it. Move to a safe distance and contact police immediately. Although these incidents are uncommon, possibly dangerous items are occasionally discovered in Prince Edward Island. We treat every report seriously and respond as though there is a genuine risk of explosion. Specialized personnel are then engaged to ensure the item is safely assessed and disposed of. - Cpl Gavin Moore, PEI RCMP Media Relations Officer

Severe storms can develop quickly. 1 in 3 Canadian adults have experienced a major weather-related emergency or disaster in their lifetime. Know the risks in your area and learn what actions you can take: canada.ca/en/services/polici…

Alright white people, let’s settle this. I'm truly sorry if I offended anyone while I was wearing my "Caucasians" shirt. I thought I was honoring you.

Replying to @powwownatives
Here in Australia, if you taunt a wild kangaroo and get viscously kicked, we will laugh at you and ask “What did you expect, it’s a wild animal?” We wouldn’t even consider euthanising. Visiting the wilderness is at your own risk. Don’t like it? Leave.
