This is what I am expecting so far...a bottom should be made in 200-300 points range here... I am long and will grab more if we fall 200-300 points. Risky but gotta try some contra in this market.

Nasdaq bounced up 2% as expected!
IT looks over-heated in short term. Also Nasdaq can rise a bit from here.

If @INCIndia @RahulGandhi you are serious about Maharashtra, you must must must keep @satejp in the top most tier. Congress needs a person who understands how elections are won!

Everyone was shouting for a 800-1000 point rally in Bank nifty. Clearly told that numbers are good only because of FCNR deposits. #banknifty #hdfc #axis

Ok it’s a cash market position, not FnO. I will be keen only if I see some FnO data shaping up to the IPO!
The “rarest of the rare” refers to two clients holding over 3% each of Reliance’s MWPL (65.87 crore shares) in F&O. Client 1: first hit 3.32% on 1 Oct, peaked 3.41%, ended Friday at 3.35% (~2.21 crore shares). Client 2: appeared 9 Oct at 3.02%, peaked 3.17%, ended at 3.15% (~2.07 crore shares). Aggregate futures/option OI looks normal; these are client-level MWPL breaches, unprecedented for RIL.

I checked the Futures data as well as the option chain data. I did not find any “rarest of the rare” positioning on Reliance. Am I missing something? Kindly let me know if you find any big fish positioning! #reliance #jio

First problem with India is: We give too much importance to politicians. We citizens run the country, we pay taxes. Our families work hard for what we have achieved in our respected lives. As indians, we taxpayers have zero benefits from government. It’s time we discuss business, professions more than anything else. Once politicians loose the centres stage, we will begin the real journey towards the rich civilisation which India once stood for!

We badly need a brand to push Toyota to give some quality for the money Indians pay. Toyota never brought their global hits like Rav4 etc to India. They are just selling re-branded maruti with no features and only with better build quality. Renault has pushed them hard with 1.8 L - 160 bhp strong hybrid 🔥 No more easy money for toyota! If indian consumer is smart, duster will be the best selling hybrid in india! #toyota #renault #duster
It was a do or die for Renault Duster and they just did the impossible With 16.99L for a strong hybrid, it competes fiercely not only with petrol buy with Diesel AT & EVs too as a package

Yeah exactly the same question I am having. When tide turns… it will be a carnage time.
ICICI Bank's deposits grew 27.1% in Q2. Strip out NRI dollar deposits raised under RBI's FCNR(B) swap window, and growth is just 17%. • ICICI raised $17.88 billion, HDFC Bank $11.5 billion, Axis Bank $10.62 billion • ~$40 billion in 3 banks, about 30% of the entire $133 billion scheme • Axis: deposits 20.7% → 17%, loans 23% → 19.1% ex-FCNR • Margins fell at all three These deposits mature in 3–5 years. Is the private bank boom real growth or borrowed growth? #Banking

What’s problem with FCNR? It has brought too much liquidity to the system, although RBI is taking measures to tighten this. What happens when too much liquidity enters banking? Loans are given to people/enterprises who are at par or in lower band of credit score. What happens then? It increases chances of starting a new NPA cycle Add interest rate hikes to this situation. Which makes it worst going ahead. So liquidity management is the key now. Although effect of this will not come asap. It will take almost a year to see whether banks are managing it well or not? #FCNR #Banking

Banking results were expected to be good due to FCNR deposits. ICICI bank - As always very good Axis - Good results Hdfc bank - okayish to good Well I will be keen to see how markets react to it because there’s an FCNR bump into the numbers. Markets are fwd looking, looking at inflationary scenario and interest rates hike, I will watch the results impact keenly on the bank nifty! #banking #HDFCbank #ICICIBank #Axisbank #Banknifty
