Had so many lovely reviews for MUMSY. I am honoured to be part of this brand new show. Come and see us if you are anywhere near Hull. Theatres like Hull Truck do so much good in their communities and really need our support right now. Also it’s a belting night out!

Rehearsals are currently bringing the story of Mumsy to life, and we are excited to present Lydia Marchant's heart felt comedy drama to audiences this March. 🎭
This is going to be so much fun.
We are marking the end of our 50th year with Mumsy, a new play written by homegrown talent and Hull Truck Theatres Young Writers alumni, #LydiaMarchant. We are very excited to announce our wonderful cast:
Sophie - Jessica Jolleys
Rachel - Nicola Stephenson
Linda - Sue Kelvin
Oh I love this! “Ladies!”
Who’d have thought that she’d go on to play the BAFTA winning hard faced copper Catherine Cawood, eh? Brilliant actress. Dame Julie Goodyear doing her best Bette Davis impression in this scene too. Love it. @itvcorrie
Returned to Twitter after a long time off. Wow it’s a good deal heavier than insta isn’t it! I’ve already been down a lot of very depressing rabbit holes and decided to go with this. I have discovered frozen mash. Making a fish pie with it. Will report back.
