Shri Rajeev Jain, NICDC, briefed him on NICDC’s initiatives and potential sectors for collaboration, highlighting plug-and-play infrastructure, #SCADA-managed underground utilities, environmental clearances, and litigation-free, encumbrance-free land. Discussions covered streamlined land allotment, including during infrastructure construction to accelerate project implementation, India’s attractive #FDI framework, and applicable Central and State incentives. The opportunity to establish a #Russia-specific industrial enclave or cluster within NICDC cities was explored, with @nlmk_news’s presence in @AURICCity highlighted as an example of Russian investment. Reiterating the emphasis laid by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on cleanliness and hygiene in Industrial Parks, Secretary, DPIIT stressed that cleanliness must become an integral part of regular operations and maintenance, helping maintain high standards, strengthen investor confidence and improve supply-chain efficiency. Shri Rajat Kumar Saini, CEO & MD, NICDC, also participated in the review, reinforcing NICDC’s continued engagement with States/UTs for sustained implementation and timely portal updation. The Swachhata Portal, linked from the NICDC website, provides a centralised platform for capturing and monitoring cleanliness drives, pothole repairs, beautification and awareness activities across Industrial Parks.
