I’m sending a sincere FUCK YOU to anyone who doesn’t want gun laws in place. Yearly background checks, psych evaluation, intensive training, insurance, etc.
Today, it’s Michigan State University. You can’t have my prayers. You can have my utter disgust. The cycle continues.

From sketch to final result. Saint Dominic. Oil on canvas.
This painting is in Saint Thomas Aquinas’s Church in New Hampshire, USA.
A Saint known by his contemporaries as happy and joyful but never portrayed like that through centuries of sacred art. Time for a change. – at Enfield, London

Please, please stop using pictures of polar bears to talk about the climate crisis.

The movie theater is and always has been a sacred democratic space for all and this new initiative by @AMCTheatres would essentially penalize people for lower income and reward for higher income.

Tip from a licensed therapist: if you want to be better at self soothing, revisit & explore interests, activities, coping mechanisms you had in adolescent/teenage yrs. It may seem “childish” to some but the younger you knew a thing or two. It’s okay to reconnect with them.

I’m less and less interested about Catholic Church drama. People are suffering, going hungry, stressed beyond measure, killing themselves, fearing they will be shot to death, and caged like animals in this country. Yet the Church is debating if being gay is a sin. Really?!!

This is brilliant. Not allowed to work from home means not allowed to work from home!

Black people should not have to be perfect to stay alive, be seen, be loved, and protected.

For a closer look at Kensington and the church's ministries here, @caseyofm did a great series called "A friar life" that followed Br. Fred at St. Francis Inn.
