Another game where #nffc are left ruing missed chances. Whether it’s Wood, Delap, Murillo.. But I haven’t come away from that feeling pessimistic about the future. Not by any stretch of the imagination. We were organised, cohesive, created enough chances to get something from the game.. and limited the champions to just one shot on target. I thought Delap was fantastic, bar a goal. A constant nuisance and a real force going forward for us, winning aerial duels and beating defenders. Macatee continues to shine. Diomande looks fitter. Hudson-Odoi a threat off the bench. Yes, psychologically it’s never nice being in the bottom 3, but the players are to blame for not being clinical enough. Despite that, I still see the ingredients of what can become a real strong side.
