El-Sayed's racist swipe at Usha Vance is badly backfiring with Indian-Americans and women trib.al/9ESLpDu
Feeling like a sitting duck at a supercharger isn't a new feeling. It has been with my family since 2016 as an early adopter. Early chargers weren't at busy shopping plazas or gas stations, they were tucked away in corners

Today in history: 107 years ago, on 13 April 1919, the Jallianwala Bagh massacre, also known as the Amritsar massacre, took place. A large peaceful crowd had gathered at the Jallianwala Bagh in Amritsar, Punjab, to protest against the British Government. 389 martyred in the army firing.

Nicole Shanahan — ex-wife of Google co-founder Sergey Brin, former running mate of RFK Jr., and someone who personally signed nine-figure philanthropy checks — just went full whistleblower on the entire Silicon Valley “tech wife mafia” and how they were used.
“I don’t think many of the tech mafia wives realize… they were used to set the groundwork for what Klaus Schwab calls “The Great Reset.” Their money especially was being conscripted through a network of NGO advisors, Hollywood, Davos, and their own companies.
“These women find their meaning through philanthropic work. I really believed I was helping Black communities and indigenous communities rise up. But now the problems have gotten worse. Crime worse. Mental health worse. The whole model is broken.
At the end of the day they always go: ‘But climate change.’
Social justice + climate change — it gets progressive women 100% of the time.” 🤔

Cuomo showed up for New Yorkers when terrorists attacked. Mamdani shows up for radicals who attack New Yorkers. His 9/11 remarks erased 3,000 murdered Americans to center his own victimhood—same playbook as when he refused to sign the Holocaust resolution.
Cuomo launched the Hate Crimes Task Force, funded synagogue security, and treated Jews as neighbors, not props. Mamdani’s coalition chants “globalize the intifada” and defends Hamas fundraisers.
NYC doesn’t need a mayor who sanitizes terror. It needs Cuomo’s spine. Vote like your safety depends on it—because Mamdani’s silence on victims always speaks volumes.

The current anti-Indian sentiment in America is nothing new. It’s a tired, recycled view. And as history shows, always a losing argument.
Anti-Irish
1840s–1850s
Portrayed as drunkards and troublemakers and racially inferior.
“No Irish Need Apply.”
Anti-Chinese
1870s–1880s
Viewed as job-stealers and blamed for economic woes, called a “Yellow Peril”
“Not a Chinaman’s chance.”
Anti-Jewish
Late 19th to mid-20th century
Stereotyped as greedy, controlling finance
"Gentiles only."
Anti-Italian
1900s–1920s Dismissed as anarchists, criminals, or racially “unfit”
“Wops, go home!”
Anti-German
1917–1918
Suspected of espionage and branded as enemies
“Don’t speak the Hun’s tongue!”
Anti-Mexican
1930s–1950, 2020s
Blamed for economic competition and social unrest
“Go back to Mexico”
Anti-Japanese
1940s
Deemed disloyal
"A Jap's a Jap"
Anti-Southeast Asian (Vietnamese, Cambodian, etc.)
1970s–1980s
Derided as dirty and burdens on society
"No more boat people!"
Anti-Arab
2001–2002
Cast as potential terrorists or extremists
"Go back to the Middle East where you belong.”
Anti-Indian
2024-2025
Portrayed as third world invaders, job stealers

Financial upside at Tesla was significantly larger. Tesla is known to compensate pretty well, way before Zuck made it cool.
If I wanted to optimize for money, I would have stayed at Tesla.

Different countries have faced the stray dog problem at different intensities, and their responses were a mix of brutality, efficiency, and long-term planning.
In several Chinese cities, mass culling(a polite name for killing) drives have been carried out where Stray dogs (and even unlicensed pets) were poisoned, or clubbed to death by the general public in massive clean-up campaigns.
It was Rabies outbreaks which triggered those brutal crackdowns.
China slowly moved toward licensing systems in big cities and enforcement is very harsh—if your dog doesn’t have a license, it’s seized and if no one claims it , it’s killed.
In America No stray packs are ever seen on streets because dogs without owners are caught and taken to shelters. If not claimed or adopted within a set time , they are killed by lethal injection or by some other methods
If we cut through the noise, sentiment and hypocrisy and honestly look at India’s situation (8 crore strays, weak municipal systems, overflowing garbage, sentimental politics etc ), the most plausible solution cannot be in one single step, but a ruthless and practical combo of immediate and long-term measures @PMOIndia @SupremeCourtIND
OBBB just killed all those EVs that were selling at a loss. Only the profitable ventures will survive, almost guaranteed. @elonmusk
Not a single politician is talking about the great DOGE which should tell you the season for celebration is over. To add insult to injury, EV Credits are set to expire BEFORE 2025 is over, not Dec 25, much sooner. Renewables have no support, either. Talk about being out of the Govt. 'you' helped elect @elonmusk
Looking at the events as a whole...
- Black eye on the last day at the govt role
- sour tweets about BBB
- Suggestion of opening a new political party
- Escalation on Epstein files
- Agreement with impeachment and putting JD in charge
- Call for recession because of tariffs
none of this adds up. For tesla to be a great company with highest market cap, there needs to be impeccable execution. Not this.
