I remember this. @elonmusk you lied to us
What say you @elonmusk
I’m listening to the Tesla call now, and realizing that nothing any of these guys are saying means anything to me at all. And I love these guys, genuinely. I think they just messed up by being so carelessly bullish on all of these products without actually knowing whether anything they said would come true when they said it would.
I wish I could care about what they say, but it’s just totally meaningless now because of how many times I’ve heard them say things that didn’t actually come true. You’d have to be some level of delusional to hear them say “next year, next summer, Q2 2027” and feel any genuine excitement or belief that it’ll actually come true. Love em, but it’s their fault that this is true. Nothing I can do about it unless I’m willing to be irrational and not pay attention to data and obvious patterns.
I do fully believe in this company and do think they are on a warpath that they will win. But these calls are just a total joke and waste of time really. You can’t actually take anything said in them seriously.
So why is that @elonmusk ??? What the hell is going on @travisraxelrod ?
I hope you realize how us long term shareholders feel @elonmusk
This!!!!!!!
Most of the speculation on the $TSLA share price or exchange ratio to $SPCX only seems to consider the current share price. It's basically saying: current +20% if you want to be nasty, or more if you want to be nice.
But that's not how it works. Both companies are in a different situation:
- SpaceX is a loss-making company. Tesla turns a profit.
- But SpaceX has a more explosive near term potential than Tesla. However, the market knows that terrestrial data centers cannot scale. They may build 5 or 10GW and then finito. It is an open question whether it would be rewarded with a high P/E. Micron trades at a forward P/E of 5 for this reason: it does not scale (or maybe it does, but people don't believe it).
- On the other hand, Cybercab has an almost infinite growth potential once it scales. Same for Optimus.
- Such an infinite growth potential for SpaceX will only be possible with AI Satellites. This requires Starship to be reusable at scale. This is less proven than Cybercab (although I personally believe that Starship will achieve reusability, the timing is maybe more uncertain).
All of these parameters will have to be taken into account. The committee in charge of the deal will have access to detailed confidential information about the pace of the data center build-up, the progress of Starship and the remaining hurdles to be solved, the projected scaling trajectory of Robotaxi within the next months, as well as Optimus advancement.
Stop thinking current price + x %. That's stupid.
$TSLA will have a “one more thing” moment tonight and I predict another new car, a family SUV.

Ilhan Omar may have never been a legitimate U.S. citizen, but she was allowed to vote on 3,000+ bills in Congress, including immigration legislation.
A foreigner who broke immigration law herself should have no role in deciding new ones.
This can never happen again.
Insane.
Great stuff here. @travisraxelrod
Hmm... some thoughts on these, no particular order...
1. Progress update on Optimus. What is their intended roadmap/milestones? There needs to be a bit more meat on the bone for investors.
2. Robotaxi economics. When do they expect that robotaxi will start to drive positive gross margin, and what are the key variables/targets they hope to accomplish (and by when). Expansion plans for 2027?
3. Semi ramp progression & customer backlog. Also update on Semi FSD timeline, and plans for megacharger deployment (in US).
4. Semi expansion. Beyond Europe, any plans for Asia?
5. Energy storage. Growth has been moderating. What is the target for 2027. Between Lathrop and Shanghai, Tesla has 80 GWh of megapack manufacturing capacity. When do they think they will hit that capacity?
6. FSD v15. How much better is it (disengagements, safety metrics etc) and when is it coming to the fleet?
7. On the vehicle side, beyond the current lineup, any other plans longer-term? Or nah ramp Cybercab to 2M + launch driverless toaster.
8. Battery Factory update. How is the LFP ramp going? Will cost sstructure improve in coming months from domestic production/less tariff impact? 4680 ramp...is production sufficient to support Semi ramp?

What’s terrifying about this clip isn’t their ideals…these sweet gals’ hearts are certainly in the right place. What’s terrifying is they have the civic, political, and economic literacy of a 9 year old. When a charlatan like Abdul comes along with the Jr High class president schtick of “no more homework and the vending machines are all free!”, they fall for it.
I don’t know how you get to that age with ZERO understanding of supply chains, manufacturing, labor costs…but a lot of folks think that medicine and MRIs and hospitals just materialize out of thin air like unicorn farts. They’ve never built anything in their lives, so they have no concept of how things function…things are just…there. They think milk comes from the store. They think rich people don’t pay taxes, even though the top 1% fund 40% of government with their taxes already, and yet 40% of all Americans contribute ZERO federal income tax at all. These people don’t understand that you could tax the wealthy at 100% and it would only fund the government for 120 days. Then you’re screwed.
Too many Americans simply have zero understanding of how anything works, and even though they’re living in the easiest times in human history, they think things are “terrible out there”. These commie scammers roll through and promise them things that sound great, but aren’t possible in reality, and have devastating consequences if tried…but because they don’t know anything, they fall for it. Sadly, so many of our politicians and their advisors are such atrocious communicators, there’s like zero countervailing narrative to push back on the commie gobbledygook, so we are gonna have to learn the hard way. Guys…we just had a sample of socialism: Covid. We all got universal basic income, and it ended up tripling our costs and they’ll never go down. Ever. That one brief little experiment in command and control government will haunt us the rest of our lives. Bleak stuff, man.

Warning: Hold your breath here.
Waymo’s Chinese OJAI ignored the red light; creeps its way into cross traffic and then just fucking goes for it.
Insane.
We don’t have any hashtags for this one…
#SuicideMission ??
How anyone thinks this is positive for $TSLA shareholders IS BEYOND ME. They are just sweeping the votes of the people that are too lazy to actually vote. This is cool and all but it’s definitely going to hurt shareholders in an important and tight vote.
BREAKING: $TSLA NOW HAS AN OFFICE OF “MERGERS AND ACQUISITIONS” 👀
SpaceX merger imminent ?
This will forever happen with their rules based setup.
Las Vegas, NV (SEP.28.2026)-
Waymo takes FOX5 news on a Demo drive to pump the product and the Chinese OJAI suffers a freeze event during the ride.
According to the Waymo representative, the parked semi is enough to cause the vehicle to get supervisor support in order to simply change lanes.
Is a parked semi considered an edge case?
Waymo set up this Demo ride to pitch the product and Lord have mercy if it wasn’t the confirmation of everyone’s biggest criticisms.
