Ethan Skolnick says Klay Thompson is known for starting the season off slow even from his Warriors days:
“I’d be more concerned with Klay Thompson if he shown in preseason that he can’t defend anymore…that’s not what we saw — we saw him be active defensively…Warriors fans will tell you…Klay has played 66 games in October and he shot 34% from 3PT…in no other month has he shot less than 40%…he’s a slow starter…he’s not supposed to be their 3rd best player — he should be their 7th-8th best player.”

Ethan Skolnick says Miami will get a similar season with Giannis to what they got from LeBron👀
“I think that 12-13’ LeBron…I never seen anything like it…I think we’re getting ready for something like that, I really do…Giannis is still physically overpowering and now he’s going to be in a situation over here in Miami where he has said ‘I’m going to be in the best shape of my life, the warm weather is good for me’…so I think we’re absolutely going to get the best version of him.”

Sucks so bad growing up as an adult watching them and now seeing them apart smh.
Steph Curry on how he feels about Klay Thompson being in Miami and how much he misses him:
“I miss that dude every day. But that’s part of the NBA, and it’s like one of those situations. Once he left, was that three years ago now? Yeah. You know everything’s not going to be the same because we all grew up together. Me and Draymond, we grew up as adults. We grew up as competitors, as champions, and at the end of the day, when it is all said and done, I can’t wait for us to break bread, have a glass of bourbon, and reminisce on all the things that we were able to accomplish. I’m happy for him in Miami. I know it’s, he wants to be in a situation where he can be impactful, have a championship-contending kind of energy going into the season. That’s, I think, what they have. So, for him, he deserves an opportunity to play and impact a winning team. I wish it was still with us, but that’s part of the nature of how things evolve in the league, and nobody’s going to hold that cloud over any of our heads because what we accomplished was so great that we’ll talk about it forever.”

J.J. McCarthy gave the Giants a huge spark off the bench and nearly completed a 24 point comeback.
11/21, 243 PASS YDS, 1 TD, 1 INT, 26 RUSH YDS vs Saints
Can McCarthy keep New York atop the NFC East and lead the Giants to the playoffs?

Klay Thompson on everyone doubting him after he struggled to shoot in the preseason:
“The shots will fall, I’m not worried about that. I’ve played this game long enough to know you’re going to have great days, you’re going to have bad days. Just do the work and stay consistent, and I’ll shoot my career averages.
I’ve just played so long, you can analyze every season. Every season is different. That’s why preseason is so important, to get your legs under you.
Luckily, I have a blank slate when the regular season starts Wednesday, and it doesn’t count, for me, I wasn’t too concerned with how I shot the ball. It was more about my wind, my condition, and playing good defense.”

Erik Spoelstra has no worries about Klay Thompson:
“I feel really good about what he’s providing for us, first, that gravity that I’ve talked about that is well earned over the course of his entire career. They’re going to defend him a certain way. And then the last couple games, I thought we’ve gotten him some really good looks. And shooters will all go through that.
He’s still getting his legs under him. He’ll be just fine. Actually, I’m really encouraged by all the other things he’s doing for us outside the three-point shooting.”
