Wow! Excited to see that companies will no longer be using the same password to secure their AWS accounts as their CTO previously used to do their online shopping.

You are right, it was an amazing way to kick off the weekend!

I am heading up the 10th annual @SeaGL Program Committee this year, and I'm looking to put together a great committee filled with folks from diverse backgrounds. If you've given a talk at a conference before and are interested in helping out, I want you! DM / [email protected].

Props to whoever at Google who made developers.google.com/worksp… . Every year or so, I have need for a mail merge solution, but it has always felt very hackish and never quite worked well. While messing with scripts isn't necessarily "easy", it worked well! Will definitely use again.

The 'Pig' in your username is because you have a pair of pet pigs named Systems Manager and Session Manager.

Trying to buy a giant teddy bear? Disappointed Costco claims their 93" bear is unavailable? giantteddy.com/enormous-7-fo… has got you covered!

Testing it in someone else's account? – at San Francisco, CA

Who would you like to see Keynote the virtual @SeaGL 2021 conference? Nominate them at docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1F… . No prior keynote experience is required; if they have a good and on-topic message to share, we want to know about them. Nominations will be open until at least May 24.

You should see them once they are fully in costume.

Darn, I just paid @sfzoo a visit, and they had some lovely bears.

I have a lovely note from the great lawyer, @bequinning, promising that you will not be sending me a bear :) But I shale prepare for the next battle in this war, and I will emerge beartorious!

.@seagl 2021 is a go (bit.ly/32reeRj)! @wholemilk and I are co-chairing the Program Committee and looking for volunteers. You should ideally have some prior talk experience, but no organizing experience is required. DM/Email ([email protected]) if interested.

Really sad to see that @socallinuxexpo, one of my favorite conferences, will not be taking place this year (but I completely respect this decision). Let the countdown to 2022 begin.

I will need to see a prospectus first. How many attendees are expected? Can I have a prime booth location? Is a speaking slot included? I'm assuming I can put my swag in the attendee bags, but what about flyers on the chairs? Logo on the walls? Badge scans?

Somebody has got to think about important topics like this. Happy to do my part.

100 bear-sized bears it is!

That is awesome. Definitely looks softer than the Costco variation, and it is at a great gifting price, but they really need to make it a bit larger.

Anyone with good taste in cookies.

They should contain chocolate chips. But if they do have raisins, it should be very clearly called out. Nothing worse than expecting chocolate chips and getting raisins.

@TwitchiH might be able to help point you in the right direction.
