Prediction markets, sportsbooks and sports exchanges have never been connected in a single venue. Today they are. @magicmarkets is out of stealth and open to everyone. 25+ venues, one order book, one wallet — the full depth and liquidity of the global sports market. For months we served institutional clients only, mostly by API. From today the beta pro frontend and the API are open to all. That includes hard-to-access old-world sportsbook venues many traders can't get near. Here is what it means for you (a thread):

See if there's a better price elsewhere out there from within Chrome as you browse Polymarket
Traders, meet Thumper, the Chrome extension that compares prediction market pricing, right inside the site you’re on. chromewebstore.google.com/de…

The prediction market stack is slowly splitting into three major settlement models 1 | @Polymarket / UMA - Oracle + Dispute 2 | @magicmarkets and @KalshiSports - Official sports results 3 | @HyperliquidX (HIP-4) - Validator side settlement Still the same event but different resolution speed and different risk levels > Tools like @PredMarketWiki already has one of the best mapping tools for filtering settlement models This will come in very handy for big traders when making proper decisions on where to size > And btw, Magicmarkets just launched to public from stealth mode and they’re not stopping, nice job @natehopps

I’m building an NFL portfolio, and New England Patriots is my Super Bowl winner pick and my main position I’m getting them at 3.7c on MagicMarkets versus 3.9c on Polymarket That 0.2c difference is already a 5.1% cheaper entry Then theres the Polymarket sports taker fee -a few percent on top So @magicmarkets gives me a materially better entry For a trade this cheap, that is not noise My thesis is that the Patriots are priced too low relative to my assessment of their chances, and I want to own that mispricing before the market reprices it MagicMarkets charges 0% maker and taker fees This is my main NFL position for now More to come

Thin in-play exit liquidity at Polymarket is a key reason we built @magicmarkets. If you're struggling to exit your positions in-play, you need access to traditional sportsbook liquidity.
tried exiting a position mid-match on Polymarket last week book that was three-deep at kickoff was empty by minute 60 everyone with an opinion already positioned pre-match. once the game starts the liquidity just leaves. sportsbooks never have this problem. live betting is their entire business model - the book stays deep the whole match because that's literally where the volume is @magicmarkets combined both liquidity types into one book instead of picking a side 25+ venues. sportsbooks, exchanges, prediction markets. one wallet, zero commission live for the EPL restart right now find an obscure midweek fixture and see if the depth actually holds past kickoff, that's the only test that matters

this thing ran as an institutional API product for months before it had a frontend that order matters more than the feature list the pipes got stress-tested by people moving size, not by a launch day crowd clicking around a clean UI @magicmarkets opened both today 25+ venues behind one order book, one wallet most launches do this in reverse

Sportsbook liquidity and prediction markets just got merged into one place to trade @magicmarkets pools 25+ venues, prediction markets and sportsbooks, into one order book One wallet. One balance. Best price across the whole thing The part I actually care about: sports markets grade on the scoreboard, game ends, result's there, done Compare that to disputed @Polymarket votes turning into screenshot-combing arguments MagicMarkets doesn't need a UMA dispute window Moreover, there are 0 fees on top of venue pricing. It's for in-play sizing where most PMs thin out at start Early beta so it's rough in places. But the core idea is the right one

Sports liquidity has been broken into disconnected pieces for way too long A few structural shifts @magicmarkets brings that actually matter: >> Native Asian Handicaps: You can finally trade proper handicap structures where real market size lives, without cobbling together synthetic hedges >> In-Play Spread Compression: Anyone trading live knows the pain of sudden 8–11¢ spreads right when you need to enter or exit Aggregating 25+ wholesale venues into a single book at 0% fees keeps the order book dense under one balance >> Scoreboard Settlement and Zero Bans: Positions grade strictly on the final match scoreboard -no token-holder voting drama or subjective resolution Since they operate as an aggregator rather than a house counterparty, you dont get punished or limited for winning If this live depth holds, competing venues simply wont have an answer The $11.12M in monthly volume on the Polymarket builder board shows the flow is already moving
