When Keeping It Real Goes Wrong, Trump Derangement Edition . . .
The internet told them Europe was a social paradise. Turns out the trains are awful, the health care isn’t free, and people can be really mean. buff.ly/5cLtnha

Stunning 10/10
Brave 10/10
The Wall Street Journal wants you to believe that rent stabilized apartments are sitting vacant because landlords can’t afford to repair apartments.
The truth is that these landlords delay repairs for years and decades, and are now trying to force New York to let them rent at market value so they can make more money.
We broke it down.

As “Winnie-the-Pooh” turns 100, Britain is renewing calls for the original stuffed bear and his friends to return from the New York Public Library.
The library has resisted requests, citing the toys’ age and popularity. Oh, bother! wapo.st/4im74oZ
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The Winnie-the-Pooh toys were sent to the US in 1947 with permission from A.A. Milne and Christopher Robin and donated to the New York Public Library in 1987 by the publisher. They were never in any British museum and Britain has no legal claim.

So socialists are prone to take government stakes in private corporations in order to control the means of production?

Blue collar workers finding out that policies predicated on raising the price of things has the effect of raising prices on things . . .

What does she think she's doing injecting facts into an emotional debate with NYers?
Saritha Komatireddy JUST STEAMROLLED Letitia James in this debate!🔥🔥🔥
Saritha Komatireddy: “New York spends $126 billion on Medicaid every year. That’s more per resident than any other state in the country, and twice as much per resident as New Jersey. That doesn’t make any sense. We’re both blue states with similar demographics and similar policies.
There’s about $40 billion in unexplained spending that Letitia James has failed to investigate.
We used to have one of the best Medicaid fraud units in the country under previous Democratic attorneys general. We recovered about $250 million a year. Letitia James came in, and it took a nosedive to $19 million.
Under previous Democratic attorneys general, we secured about 100 criminal convictions a year. Under Letitia James, that number hit an all-time low of eight.
She gets 2,000 patient abuse complaints a year and secures maybe one or two convictions. That means someone could be punching an elderly patient in a nursing home, and no one is doing anything.”

Texas produces more than Canada with three quarters of the population.
Note this isn't about which is better or where you would rather live or burritos or life expectancy--it's about why isn't Canada more productive?

Perfect. These distortions of what consent means are best handled by abusing them yourselves. Either every drunk member of consensual intercourse are both victims and rapist or we have to admit that women are not equal under the law - they are less capable than men.
