36 years as a friend, 24 years as a colleague. I have no words. So many wonderful times & stories. Thoughts & prayers with the family x
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Stephen Fox, beloved Headteacher at Ardley Hill Academy.
Mr Fox joined Ardley in 2020 and the school has gone from strength to strength. Stephen was a fantastic school leader and an incredibly likeable person that supported people and made everyone feel valued; a true gentleman and friend to many.
Our condolences are with Stephen’s family at this difficult time.

Last month, four students from @Thomas_Alleynes joined our medical workforce for a week of work experience 👨⚕️👩⚕️
They had the opportunity to shadow consultants in clinics, ward rounds and theatre 🏥
We hope to offer this experience again soon!

If there’s one plea I could make ahead of GCSE results day tomorrow, it’s in the way the media and other commentators talk about GCSE grades.
Grades 1-3 are not fails. Us or Xs are. Anyone with a 1-3 HAS GOT A GCSE. And for some of those kiddos, a 1 or a 2 or 3 can be a phenomenal result that they deserve to be proud of. Let’s be a bit more responsible in our language.
