Brookside’s rise to commanding over 67% of Kenya’s formal milk market was not achieved through organic growth alone.
Under Muhoho’s strategic direction, the company executed a series of calculated, high-stakes buyouts, systematically absorbing formidable competitors as they faltered or sought exits:

What if Kenya turned Konza Technopolis into a 5 km street circuit hosting Formula 1 and Formula E?
Not by building an entirely new circuit.
By leveraging existing roads, modifying selected corners, creating proper overtaking zones, and integrating motorsport facilities into a city still under development.
Indicative budget: KES 12 billion.
Let’s explore the idea

The latest on the RMLF securitisation. The National Treasury and the Kenya Roads Board (KRB) have executed long-term legal and trust agreements to formalize a KES 156.97 billion Asset-Backed Securities (ABS) Programme, permanently encumbering future fuel levy receipts to retire short-term contractor debt.
According to transaction documents finalized between September 14 and October 1, 2026, the Special Purpose Vehicle, OAK SPV Assetco Limited, entered into an Onshore Trust Deed with NCBA Bank Kenya PLC (as Note Trustee) and a formal Placing Agreement with a banking syndicate led by Absa Bank Kenya, KCB Investment Bank, and the Eastern and Southern African Trade and Development Bank (TDB).
These newly executed documents mark the formal long-term "take-out" refinancing phase.
Under the agreement:
The Instrument: Up to KES 156.96 billion in Asset-Backed Notes are being placed with institutional subscribers (pension funds, commercial banks, and regional development lenders).
The Yield Benchmark: Key intercreditor terms anchor the internal yield on the underlying asset purchase at a fixed 12.72% per annum payable to the Kenya Roads Board on its Originator Note.
The Proceeds: Cash raised from the long-term notes will be used to pay off the initial bridge facilities provided by commercial lenders.
Mortgaging the Fuel Levy: To guarantee repayment to noteholders under NCBA’s trust deed, a dedicated slice of the Road Maintenance Levy Fund—scaling up to KES 12 per litre—is legally ring-fenced and continuously routed into escrow accounts before reaching state road agencies.
Maintenance Budget Squeeze: While the structure resolves immediate contractor litigation and clears historical balance-sheet arrears, it locks in a massive fixed debt-service obligation over the next decade, sharply curtailing unencumbered cash available to agencies like KeNHA, KeRRA, and KURA for routine road maintenance.
Private Placement vs. Public Oversight: By relying on off-balance-sheet SPV issuing structures and target placements restricted to "limited or qualified investors," the multi-billion-shilling transaction bypasses conventional parliamentary debt caps, raising ongoing questions regarding long-term fiscal transparency and public participation.

Oooof!! Bars on bars!!
It’s actually the other way round Mr. President. There is a reason the right to life and the fundamental freedoms come first in the Bill of Rights. More than anything else we want to live in a free and democratic country because in the dark of the grave where you put Rex Maasai and Albert Ojwang, you can’t see shiny things.

Happy birthday, my gal! It’s yet another year filled with grace and favour.
Two years ago, on a day like today, we celebrated your birthday in shock, having been humiliated and disgraced by a man we had sacrificed everything to make king.
Today, as we celebrate your birthday, we thank God that we are a very happy family. Over the past two years, we have received countless blessings from God, as well as inexplicable favour and acceptance from the people of Kenya.
As we prepare to travel back home and engage the final gear in the liberation of our country, please accept my assurance that, on a day like today next year, I will throw you the biggest birthday celebration bash ever at the most coveted address in the country.
In our 37 years of marriage, I have made you many promises and kept most of them. This is one promise I SHALL honour and MUST honour.

Sifuna was wrong when he said chickens can’t live on the 12th floor, until my Kalenjin in Nandi were told to abandon tea farms and cows for affordable housing.
They have started questioning Ruto.

From Sifuna's speeches if you consume more than sound bites, he's said:
1. Cut KSh 500B–1.8T in “budgeted corruption”/wastage line-by-line. Audit and full transparency on the ~KSh 13T public debt (who is owed, for what). Cut government borrowing to free credit for the private sector and lower unemployment.
2. Balance the budget in 15 months. Prioritize youth jobs, vocational training, digital economy, and support for local entrepreneurs.
3. Scrap the housing levy.
4. Reduce VAT on fuel and electricity.
5. Cut overall taxation to ease cost of living for workers and small businesses.
6. Build a national data bank of schools and students to stop capitation misuse.
7. Pay hospitals within 30 days; one fraud strike and you’re out.
8. Fix SHA/healthcare fraud and delays.
9. Defend the 2010 Constitution and its preamble values (rule of law, rights, democracy, social justice).
10. Demand full implementation of the 10-point agenda (protest compensation, education, SHA, cost of living, etc.).
