What if there's a better way/design
than the default AI chat interface?
A quick exploration:
Congratulations to @NVIDIAAI for launching Nemotron 3.5 Super VL.
We worked with our partners @tryRamp, @Harvey, and @Cognition along with the NVIDIA team to post-train and improve the model’s performance using targeted datasets from our APEX benchmarks.
We tested the post-trained Nemotron models on legal, software engineering, and accounting tasks it had never seen.
The post-trained model improved across all three professional domains.

Mercor Research mapped AI benchmarks to actual US jobs.
Only 208 of 923 occupations in the US economy are represented by existing AI benchmarks. 90% of hours worked in the US aren't covered well by a relevant AI benchmark.
Today, we’re releasing the 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗠𝗮𝗽 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗦 𝗘𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝘆, an interactive breakdown of which economic tasks are covered by AI benchmarks.
Benchmarks are how we measure AI’s progress and anticipate its impact on real work. They’re crucial to understand which jobs AI can automate, where the biggest gaps are, and how those capabilities are changing over time.
The Benchmark Map is our first step toward building a resource that makes it easier to answer: 𝘋𝘰𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘈𝘐 𝘮𝘰𝘥𝘦𝘭 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘮𝘺 𝘰𝘤𝘤𝘶𝘱𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯?

Multi-product UI nav for @copy_ai (pre-acquisition).
A bookshelf-style navigation system: each product is represented as a color-coded “book.” The active product expands into the main workspace, while the others remain visible as vertical spines along the edges.
Somebody do it pls; it deserves to live.
new pen.dev pretty goood

ALT The image shows Pen.dev features. Buttery-smooth performance Thousands of layers stay smooth as you pan, zoom, and edit powered by a custom WebGL pipeline. Pen tool Draw paths, edit curves, and paste SVG code straight into your designs with ease. Shaders Visual effects powered by real-time shaders, gradients, and textures at your fingertips. Figma import Import .fig files with layouts, styles and images. Or copy/paste directly from Figma. Built-in browser Open any page inside the app and import it straight onto the canvas. Chrome extension Copy any webpage in Chrome. Paste to the canvas as editable layers.
Mercor is committing $5M to a new AI Safety Fund.
One of the biggest challenges the industry faces today is addressing whether frontier AI is safe enough to deploy. This is why we believe investing today in safety research, evals, and verification is critical.
We want to work with AI researchers who are focused on critical safety risks, including:
- Misalignment: deceptive alignment, reward hacking, scheming
- Sandbox escape and agent containment failures
- Evaluation awareness: models that behave differently when tested
- Interpretability and scalable oversight
- Red-teaming methodology and safety eval design
We will fund the researcher hours, API credits, and travel. We will also cover the cost to work with our network of 5M+ experts red-teaming, grading and annotation, and free use of our evals and analysis platform.
Grants are open to independent researchers, non-profits, and academics.

After 7 fulfilling years of building, learning, and growing at @carbonhealth, I started a new chapter back in Feb.
For the past 6 months, I’ve been helping early-stage startups go from 0→1.
If you’re working on something interesting, hit me up 🤙👇

One of the best open-source writeups I've seen on actually doing RL training for knowledge-work agents at scale.

Model labs - -> Data labs is new loop in making. Edward is ex-OpenAI!
I am joining Mercor to lead model training & research.
We envision a world with an abundance of intelligence. Great data is increasingly the bottleneck for frontier models to tackle economically valuable work. We believe great data can is best produced in connection with great model training.
We commit to doing great modeling research out in the open, starting with sharing our 397B RL training run to hillclimb APEX-Agents, our flagship knowledge work benchmark: mercor.com/blog/training-fro…
