As I set off this AM past this, I was thinking that maybe the problem is that journeys by motor vehicle are considered essential (and many of them are), but cycling is seen as a leisure activity.
Well many bike trips are very essential. The sooner we realise that the better.

When I saw these Tweets earlier, it made me incredibly angry. Because it is a perfect example a problem we have in this country. Punching down.

And while that was no excuse for me acting the maggot, nearly every kid in my estate had an unstable home life. Combine that with a sense of boredom and a lack of any social care structures, and you are going to have social issues. Especially from kids who know no better.

I grew up in a Council estate. I wasn't a very well-behaved kid either, I'm embarrassed, looking back at myself now.
But we had nothing. No parks. No pitches. No youth clubs. No resources what so ever.
