During his final broadcast on October 2, 2016, Vin Scully told the story of becoming a Giants fan exactly 80 years earlier.
As an eight-year-old, he saw a laundry-window score showing the Yankees had beaten the Giants 18-4 in the 1936 World Series, felt sorry for the Giants and began rooting for them.
That's an almost perfect story for Scully's goodbye.
His baseball life had started with one scoreboard and ended 80 years later in a Giants ballpark.

Pittsburgh is an absolutely gorgeous city man. Nothing beats this aerial drone shot here of PNC Park and the downtown skyline.
I remember this stretch of I-79 from my drives to and from Erie. There, but for the Grace of God, go I.
#BREAKING: All lanes on I-79 between Cranberry & Portersville in Butler County remain shutdown after a massive pile up near the Evans City exit. One person has died & multiple people taken to the hospital. @KDKA #KDKADroneTeam

A view on the North Side of #Pittsburgh from yesterday, featuring one of my favorite homes in the city. The unplowed street added to the beautiful winter feel, and I love the city in the background. Full transparency, I did remove the mess of power lines from the shot as well.

The vast and rusty acreage of Bethlehem Steel in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. It staggers the mind to realize that this place helped build the modern America we see today.

This little area of fresh fall color right now on the North Shore perfectly frames the Warhol bridge and skyline.

Little throwback tonight to one of my favorite images of the Ft. Pitt Bridge in #Pittsburgh, captured from the roof of the tunnel (where I was legally via invitation from the city and PennDOT). You can see the chaos on the bridge from the merging of traffic...just so cool.

Five years ago today I took the best photo I’ll probably ever take. I like good photos and have a four hour bus journey shortly so need entertaining. Feel free to reply with the best photo you ever took. Accompanying description also welcome.
