On the ground in #Dakar 🇸🇳 the @GimacNetwork team continues its advocacy work at the @NGOForum & @ACHPR meetings. With #WASH as a key priority theme, we are actively engaging stakeholders to ensure gender perspectives are integrated across all discussions and outcomes. Girls' and women's experiences must remain central to policy dialogue, advocacy efforts, and community action.

#Water and #sanitation are connected to #energy, #agriculture, #publichealth, climate resilience, ecosystems, financing, #governance, #peace and #security, and the realities communities face every day.
That’s why the ECOSOCC Infrastructure & Energy Sectoral Cluster Committee, in collaboration with the Political Affairs Cluster, is convening a two-session webinar series on the 2026 AU Theme of the Year:

SESSION 2 | 15 OCTOBER 2026: zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_…
Integrated Solutions, Water Diplomacy and Policy Recommendations
The second session will focus on practical responses, including resilient infrastructure, financing, wastewater reuse, ecosystem protection, decentralized systems, water diplomacy, governance and civil society participation.
